Chapter 27

Jungkook descends down the stairs covered with red woolen carpet which were newly fixed since it was time to welcome the winter season.

The soft fabric of the carpet rubs against his feet as he makes his way towards Jin's chamber. Both of them had decided to go on a long walk with other pack members so that they could have some fun as well as Jungkook would get to know more about their pack.

The luna is neatly dressed in his most comfortable hanbok since the ones he usually wears during the day time are a little royal for the night.

He walks past different corridors before entering the one where Jin and Namjoon's chamber was located. On his way, he meets some pack members who have dedicated their life taking care of the pack house. Most of them spend their day in the pack house only visiting their home at night.

Jungkook is glad that they are there. The whole pack house which is so big that one can get lost and so the presence of these pack members make it feel lively.

A house becomes a home by the people residing in it and the luna feels blessed to have these people around him who makes the walls of the pack house feel warm.

"Jin hyung, it's me Jungkook. ", Jungkook says as he knocks on the door moving on his toes as he waits for the omega to open the door.

" I am coming, Jungkook-ah ", Jin yells from inside when Namjoon opens the door for him.

The dimple smile he shows the luna is charming with the ability of making a smile appear on the Luna's face. He moves aside letting the luna enter their room.

Jungkook skims his eyes over the room to search for the omega whom he finds to be sitting in front of the mirror. He comes to stand beside Jin who smiles at him through the mirror.

" Jungkook-ah, I want you to be careful okay. Don't hurt yourself and don't get lost. ", Namjoon says as he pats Jungkook's head. Jungkook nods at Namjoon, a content feeling in his heart.

It is unbelievable that Jungkook went from having only his mother who cared for him to now having an whole family which he could call his. He knows that each and every person of this pack loves him and that he holds them dear to his heart.

"Alpha, how will Jungkookie get lost in my presence? You very well know that I'll take care of him.", Jin says earning a hum from Namjoon.

" For sure. The omega who gets lost even though he has resided in this pack for most years of his life is going to take care of our luna.", Namjoon mumbles but soon regrets when Jin narrows his eyes, glaring at him.

Fortunately, the sweet giggles of the luna distracts Jin who smiles looking at the adorable doe eyed person. No wonder he is so fond of Jungkook even though it's only been a few days since him and Taehyung got married.

"Did your alpha give you permission to come with us? ", Jin questions, applying a light tint on his lips making them dorn a light shade of pink.

" He had proposed to accompany us but I have strictly denied him.", Jungkook chuckles before turning around when the deep laugh of Namjoon echos in the room.

"I am telling you Jungkook, my brother isn't going to let you go alone. Especially with Jin and Jimin.", Namjoon utters still trying to control his laugh as he settles down on the bed with a book in his hands.

" Even I am aware of that. Not even in his nightmare will he let his precious mate come with us at night that too without him. ", Jin chuckles shaking his head at the thoughts of his brother-in-laws possesiveness over his loved ones.

" Why won't he let me come with you? Moreover, I can take care of myself. ", Jungkook mumbles.

" He has already lost everything, Jungkook-ah. He can't afford loosing you. ", Namjoon says with his eyes still buried in the small text engraved on the slightly tored pages of the book.
