Chapter 11

Jungkook closes the door of his room behind his back before turning around to go in the direction of the bathhouse. His eyes roam over the various doors inside his chamber, precisely alpha Taehyung's chamber. His eyes still at the door infront of his own bedroom door which looks much more bigger than his.

Jin had told him that the room opposite to him belonged to alpha Taehyung.

Maybe this is alpha Taehyung's room, Jungkook concludes. He was quick enough to start moving before getting caught staring at the trueblood's room if it truely belongs to him.

He was about to take a right turn when his nostrils flare up to the sudden scent of pinewood. His eyes try to find the source of it although he knows who the owner of such an intoxicating scent is. Jungkook follows the scent which was slowly getting stronger and stronger as he walks upto the source. The fact that Jungkook wasn't the one who was willingly following the scent, it was his wolf who was making his human self to follow the scent made Jungkook's heart beat quicken.

He sees the shadow of the trueblood who was wearing a royal blue hanbok with a black handcrafted border. He had a bow and a few arrows in his hands. Before Jungkook could even breath peacefully, the trueblood turns around now facing Jungkook when the sweet scent of lavender hits his nostrils.

"Good morning, my heart. I assume you are going to have a bath.", It wasn't a question. The trueblood was sure about him going to the bathhouse. Jungkook observes how the smile with which the trueblood always used to greet him was missing today. There was no longer excitement in te trueblood's voice.

"Yes. I'm going towards the bathhouse.", Jungkook waits for the trueblood to say something else but the trueblood simply nods before turning around ,his hold on the arrow tightning.

Jungkook is glad that the trueblood did not say anything further. He didn't have the will to speak to him. One thing that surprises Jungkook is how the trueblood didn't even ask him about the letter he had sent yesterday with Jin. There's no way the trueblood had forgotten about the letter.

Jungkook looks in the direction where the trueblood went only to see nothing. Jungkook sighs before shaking his head, his age old habit of getting rid of the thoughts that disturbs his mind. He walks towards the bathhouse ready to calm down his body as well as thoughts by taking a nice bath with the warm water of the pond.

Jungkook removes his clothes only keeping one piece of clothing that covers his torso. He kneels down by the edge of the pond before diping his hand inside the water to check it's temperature. A frown appears on his face when he finds the temperature of the water to be perfect. As hot as he likes. He wonders how the temperature of the water is accurate every time he comes to take a bath.

He knows that the temperature of the water keeps changing and the person taking the bath is the one who needs to adjust the temperature as per their liking but in his case, the temperature of the water all these days was the same. More specifically, of the same temperature he likes his body to bake in.

Jungkook isn't that dumb to not know the reason behind it,specifically the person behind the perfect water temperature. He very well knows that no one else other than him and alpha Taehyung is allowed to visit this bathhouse. He himself has never seen anyone not even the helpers come inside the bathhouse.

He wonders how alpha Taehyung was able to get the water temperature right every time. He wants to ask the trueblood to stop warming the water for him but he also knows that he himself won't be able to get the water temperature right as he was not used to working with the firewoods.

He dips his body inside the water feeling his muscles relaxing from the heat the water was providing. He closes his eyes relaxing but his mind is full of unanswered questions. He chooses to ignore them. Maybe he will find the answer to these questions some other day.
