Chapter 15

Jungkook's eyes roam over the room observing each and every corner of it. The room doesn't look much different from what it looked the first time he entered the room a few days back.

The only difference was that the bed was decorated with flowers with lanterns lit in the corners which provide the warmth and aroma one asks for during winters. He knows the reason why the room was decorated. First night after marriage is supposed to be special for the newly married couple as they are supposed to mate and bond on the eve of first night.

Jungkook thinks of possibilities by which he can reject his mate from being intimate. He knows that he cannot easily submit to the trueblood since he is also an alpha although not as strong as the other but still holds some power. He walks towards the closet which he knew was filled with his clothes as Jin had already transferred them to the trueblood's  room this morning.

He surely needs to arrange the closet according to his own liking as he couldn't even find his own nightwear from the closet. He was about to remove all his clothes from the closet but stops when he hears the click of the door. He stills, unable to move when a strong waft of pinewood invades his senses. The scent overpowering his own lavender scent.

He hears foot steps approaching, stopping a few steps away from him. Jungkook turns around only to find the alpha staring at him with curious eyes.

"Are you searching for something, my heart? Actually Jin hyung was the one who arranged your clothes in the closet. Do you need help? Should I call him? ", the alpha bombards him with questions laced with concern. Although the alpha's face isn't that readable, his eyes are. Infact, Jungkook finds it easy to read the alpha's eyes than his face.

"No, I'm fine. I will help myself.", Jungkook utters before turning his back towards the alpha, searching into the closet for his nightwear.
A sigh leaves his mouth when he finally finds it deeply burried into the pile of hanboks.

He turns around ready to go inside the bathroom to change into his nightwear when his eyes fall on the alpha who was still clad in his fancy wedding hanbok. He was busy reading the book which Jungkook is glad of because he will not have to face him then.

Jungkook quickly changes into his comfortable nightwear before walking out of the bathroom. He prays to the Moongodess, hoping that the alpha somehow falls asleep but maybe Moongodess was not by his side today. His eyes fall on the alpha who was sitting in the same position as earlier, only difference was that he too had changed into comfortable nightwear.

The choice of color of their clothes is contrast. His baby pink cotton hanbok is very much opposite to the alpha's royal blue one's. Jungkook goes near the bed, settling on the right side of it as the other had already occupied the left side.

The alpha reacts to the click of the door, his eyes immediately falling on the human clad in a beautiful hanbok.   Is it his heartbeats or the Luna's that were thundering in his ears, the alpha couldn't figure out. He gathers himself before being called a freak by his own mate.

"I need to tell you something, my heart."

Jungkook hears the cold voice of the trueblood who moves a little, now facing the luna. A sigh leaves Jungkook's lips on anticipating what is about to come his way. His mind was already running on how can he reject his mate from getting intimate but his train of thoughts come to an hault when the alpha utters the next few words.

"I won't intimately touch you until you are comfortable with me, my heart. This is my promise to you.", alpha Taehyung utters, getting up from the bed moving towards the couch situated opposite to the bed.

Jungkook couldn't utter a word after listening to the alpha's words. Maybe the alpha is a mind reader.

"I will sleep here from now on. You can sleep comfortably on the bed
I know you feel uncomfortable around me but I cannot stay in some other room. It will raise suspicion among the pack members and we both don't want that. They think of us as their ideal couple. We can't break their trust on fate and love just because we couldn't achieve it in the budding stage of our relationship.", the trueblood explains, his eyes observing the Luna's face who seemed too lost in his own thoughts to speak.
