"Jimin hyung didn't mention the reason behind the requirement of your presence? ", Jungkook asks as he sits in front of the alpha who is busy folding a pair of hanbok before placing it on a large piece of cloth.

There's this feeling in his stomach that's not allowing him to stay calm. He doesn't want the alpha to go. The urge to always be around him is strong in Jungkook's head but he doesn't voice out. He can't be selfish. If Jimin needs Taehyung's help then it should be something serious.

" No. But I believe that the reason must be linked with the breaches that have been happening these days.", Taehyung sighs.

He is well aware of the fact that Jimin can take care of his own pack. Jimin being one of the strongest and most powerful head alphas in their region, he is almost equal to Taehyung. The only thing that makes Taehyung superior is his rank.

But when it comes to protecting their pack, especially when the head alpha has someone who's very close to his heart on the verge of getting harmed, no sane alpha will not ask for help. If Taehyung would have been in Jimin's place, he would have done the same.

Earlier, he didn't have the reason to be protective about himself or anyone else but his pack. But now, everything has changed.

His reason for living and surviving has changed.

He looks at Jungkook who is busy writing a letter back to Jimin, informing him about Taehyung's soon departure from Phoenix. The way his lips move, whispering each and every word that he writes on the paper. His brows frown when he thinks of perfect words to form a sentence.

Taehyung had felt like a woosh of air taking away his breath when he first saw Jungkook. That very second he knew that this person is going to be the reason behind him being alive and also the reason behind his death.

How can someone within a fraction of time take control of your heart, your mind and your body?

Taehyung needs an answer.

Before meeting Jungkook, Taehyung was living his life without being worried about his presence hurting someone or bothering the other person. Whenever he used to go to wars before, he never really cared about himself. He understands that he is a trueblood but even truebloods can get hurt and might take longer to get well.

But now, there's one person who's always present in the back of his mind. That said person is the only reason why he thinks twice these days before taking crucial decisions regarding wars and breaches. If he wanted, he would have ended the rogues who are trying to breach their borders but for that he would have to announce a war.

And war means bloodshed.

He can't take this risk now. Especially when Jungkook is living in Phoenix. He hates himself for having a weakness. His weakness being his own mate, he can't undo the change.

"Is it serious? I mean.. I understand it's a war.", Jungkook asks. His mind is filled with questions and worries for the alpha. He understands the seriousness of the war but still he wants to make sure if Taehyung is going to be fine.

" Don't worry. It is not that serious. As far as I know, they are just threatening us. If they wanted to start a war, they would have by now.", Taehyung smiles at the luna whose lips curve into a pout.

He keeps the last piece of hanbok inside the heap of clothes as Taehyung ties them with a cloth. Carrying clothes in a cloth instead of a trunk makes it easier to carry and travel.

"Take care of yourself for me, yeah. I'll be back soon.", Taehyung whispers, cupping the Luna's cheeks before tracing the skin with his knuckles. Jungkook holds the alpha's hand that's placed over his cheeks, his heart is not ready to let the alpha go.
