Your wish, my command

Chapter 2

Namjoon was waiting for his omega to arrive from his parents house. Jin had promised his arrival before dawn and it was already late.

Namjoon paced across the corridor, slightly anxious. He knew his mate was safe. He had mind linked Jin asking about his whereabouts and the omega had assured him his safety.

Namjoon wished to inform his mate about Taehyung's departure to the west but thought against it.

Footsteps of a few guards were heard from a distance which made Namjoon sigh in relief. Soon a carriage carried by two guards arrived. Not even a ounce of tiredness reflecting on their face confirmed that Jin had used his healing power to strengthen the guards.

Namjoon always adored his mate. In a world where fate decides whom you will live your life with, Namjoon was happy he found his best friend to be his fated mate.

Jin has always been Namjoon's priority after Taehyung. He sometimes feel that Taehyung played the role of a cupid in their love story. Jin had always been fond of Taehyung. If not for Taehyung, Jin wouldn't be married to him after that incident.

A tap on his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts and here he was, the love of his life smiling at him like always. He was curious how did Jin maintain to smile all the time. Through thick and thin.

"Welcome back love. How was your trip to the south?", Namjoon asks getting hold of Jin's hand tucking it forward guiding him inside the pack house.

"The Journey was long but I feel content after meeting my parents and other pack members. We even arranged a medical camp where I taught the healers how to make few herbal medicines for diseases which were rare but fatal.", Jin explained.

"I am glad you enjoyed your time with your family in the south and also you did a good job by teaching the healers about a few herbs.", Namjoon replied.

"Where is Taehyung? I expected him to atleast greet me when I come back but he is no where to be seen.", Jin asked, a frown appearing on his handsome face.

"He left for the west today morning. He wanted to bring some grains before the harvesting season. I tried requesting him to not go but all in vain.", Namjoon sighed.

"Your brother is very stubborn. Couldn't he wait till my return? You and I very well know the real reason for his sudden visit to the west.", Jin said pinching the bridge of his nose.

"You should take some rest love. I will ask the cook to prepare some warm soup for you."

Jin have practically raised Taehyung since the alpha turned thousand years old. He knows the alpha more than thr alpha himself.

Taehyung has always been a reserved person. The first time he spoke to Taehyung was when the alpha was found injured in the forest when he was a pup. That too point to point. Jin first thought that Taehyung didn't like him and that is why the alpha was quite around him. But as time went by he realised the real reason behind the alpha's behaviour and it concerned him. Still does.

From that day, Jin took an oath of taking care of the alpha even if the alpha doesn't want to.

Taehyung guides his horse over the narrow path of the hill. The horse neighs following his master's guidance.

Over the end of the hill, Taehyung could see fairy lights decorating the place. As he moves closer, his doubt come true when he sees many people along with small children all spread around the ground performing different activities.

There were hydrides of booths around a huge banyan tree. As he entered the entry gate of the ground he found more tents and stalls. A lot of street hawkers and vendors selling sweets, toys, hand crafts and other art appliances. There was a fair organised, the alpha concluded.
