----------------------------------------------------------Jungkook wakes up the next day with a heavy heart. Being used to waking up to the alpha's scent wafting around the room, the sunlight peeking through the balcony, in the cocoon of his blanket, it's still the same but the warmth is missing.
The excitement of seeing what the alpha is doing, the excitement of what the omegas of their pack have planned for the day, the excitement of cooking food for the pack members, this is something that the luna is missing.
Jungkook wonders what is he going to do for the entire month. Is he supposed to sit in his bedroom doing nothing??
Before marriage, he was used to doing nothing other than painting, cooking or sometimes practicing with the swords. But since the last few months, his days have been so busy and full of people that, now sitting alone in his room, he feels lonely.
He eagerly wants to meet the people of Phoenix, his family members, especially the alpha. The person he didn't know he longed for until now.
Jungkook thinks that until now, he had taken his life for granted. Even though, he felt blessed to have so many people who love him around, he feels that somehow he had taken them for granted.
Now that he sits alone inside the four walls of his bedroom, he yearns for being around those people. He wonders when and how he became so used to all of them that he doesn't wish to live in the place where he has spent most of his time at.
It is funny how his heart feels more closer to Phoenix where he has spent only a few months rather then Pluotiris where he had spent years.
Now that Jungkook thinks about it, he realises that he was never attracted to Phoenix as a place full of greenery, but the people.
He feels as if he just lost a piece of his heart after arriving to Pluotiris. His heart yearns for the people of Phoenix, which the people of Pluotiris couldn't earn. Not that it's their fault. All thanks to his lovely mother.
Jungkook groans before getting up from his bed, dragging his feet towards the bathroom. With a frown and a pout permanently plastered on his face, the luna does his morning chores before heading towards the kitchen area.
He is not sure if he is supposed to, more precisely, allowed to cook inside the kitchen. He cannot call this palace as his anymore. His home is in Phoenix.
Jungkook enters the huge kitchen, the chefs bowing at him as he nods. He trots towards the kitchen counter where he could see something boiling in a huge vessel.
"We are cooking japache for breakfast, Luna Kim.", the chef utters as if he understood the Luna's inner turmoil.
" Please make it less spicy.", Jungkook informs, making the chef frown.
"But Luna Kim, you are fond of spicy food aren't you? ", The chef questions earning a nod from Jungkook.
" I was a spicy lover. But I no longer can tolerate the spice.", Jungkook informs as he comes to sit on the dining table.
It is true that he used to love spicy food before marriage but from the day he went to Phoenix, he had realised that the people of Phoenix were not a fan of spicy food. Atleast that's what he had thought earlier.
But later he had come to know that it was the alpha who was spice intolerant and since they cook the same food for everyone, they make it less spicy so that the alpha can have it too.
Because of which, everyone in their pack became used to eating less spicy food. Including Jungkook himself.
"Luna Kim, there's someone at the palace gate who wants to meet you. We could have informed the queen but she isn't free.", one of the guards informs Jungkook, his expressions a little scared and frustrated.
