Chapter 24: Neteyam p.o.v

After reassuring my parents I was okay and they should go to Kiri they left together with Tuk, Tonowari and Ronal. Ao'nung hadn't let go of my hand as he helped me up with Lo'ak. The aircraft had left after seeing it's leader be murdered by Ao'nung and my brother. We looked around and to our relief we found out that not many of us had died. Our home had taken a major hit but it wasn't anything we couldn't fix. We would rebuild our houses and the town and live in peace again. We stumbled to the water and called an Ilu to bring us to those who had fled the town and seaked refugee in the ancestral cave. I sat behind Ao'nung wrapping my arms around his torso, kissing his shoulder "I am glad you are save."
"You were in more danger than me." He says.
"And I would do it again to save you." I whisper in his ear " I would do anything for you."
"You guys are so mushy, it's sickening." Lo'ak calls to us from his own Ilu.
"You can go ahead." Ao'nung yells at him to whick Lo'ak laughs but sped up his pace to get to his girlfriend sooner.
"You think you can go faster?" I ask my boyfriend " I need to make sure Kiri is okay."
"You are hurt."
"As were you, but we are still alive."
"Don't fall off." He tells me as he told his Ilu to quicken the pace.

We arrived at the ancestral cave where the people were together singing songs and prayers to Eywa. Tonowari had taken the lead again with Ronal calming the clan down. I kissed Ao'nung his head "Go to your parents, you are the next Olo'eyktan. You need to been seen by the people."
"I don't want to leave you."
"I will be right here, with my parents." I gesture to my family who was hugging Kiri who had woken up.
"Do not leave without telling me."
'I won't." I promise him "We still have to complete our mating."
"That we do." He kisses me, making me get lost in the pleasure.
I pull away from him "Now go."
He nods and ran to his parents. I turned to my own family and took Kiri in my arms. "You stupid loser, how could you have let yourself be captured like that."
"You got hurt." I tell her "Seems like you are the stupid one."
"You are both stupid." Tuk says.
"I am just happy we are all save again." My mother opens her arms as we all made a big family hug. Tsiyera, Asina and Roxto watching us.
"Come join the hug." My father tells them "We are all family now.
During our hug I look up at my boyfriend who was together with his parents at the front reassuring everything was going to be okay. He looked up at me and as our eyes met he gave me a quick wink. After the hug my father and I went up to the Olo'eyktan and stood besides him as they discussed a new plan of action since our home needed to be rebuild. Ao'nung took my hand in his and squeezed it we would be okay, all of us.
