"Wake up." I hear a voice plead "Ao'nung wake up, please."
I open my eyes to see Tuktirey trying to shake me awake. I groan "Tuk what happened."
"We are under attack." She says helping me sit upright.
I look around to our mothers stand infront of us in a protective manner, only then I realized we were surrounded by the demons of the sky. I got up with the help of my sister in law before I saw Neteyam and our fathers charging at us. The sky people were in this sort of machines and I watched as jake and Neteyam effortless disarm the sky people as my father was just using brute force. My mother then charged as well picking up a spear from the ground while my mother in law fought as well. Together we managed to take out the demons.
"Neteyam." I breath out running to him as he wraps his arms around me.
"You're okay." He kisses my forehead "We are all okay."
"Are you hurt?" I ask him worried turning him around to search for any injuries.
"No I am fine, how about you?" he asks but then I felt Neteyam being yanked out of my arms. I look at the culprit to see Quadritch had taken a hold of Neteyam by pulling his braid what protected his queue. He screamed out in agony. Making the rest of us turn around in shock. "Neteyam." Neytiri screams placing an arrow on the bow, Jake brought with him.
"Let him go." I yell at the demon holding him.
"You know." Quadritch smirks holding on to Neteyam his queue even harder making him fall on his knees in pain. He shows us a knife placing his against Neteyam his braid "I always wondered what would happen if I cut of someone queue."
I looked at Quadritch in horror "No, please don't."
"Quadritch, let go of my son." Jake tries to negotiate. "You wanted me, that is why you went after us in the first place. You can have me."
"A little too late for that isn't it." Quadritch says "Won't I be poetic to kill your eldest son, who miraculous survived after I shot him."
"No." Neytiri screams but not daring to fire, afraid of her son's life. I looked at my parents helpless who also didn't know how to diffuse this situation.
"So what do you want?" Jake asks standing protective infront of Tuk "Why have you come here."
"I came to kidnap your children." He smiles "I want you to come to us for a chance, you wouldn't stand a chance at homebase "
"You won't get away with this." Neteyam gasps, the pain evident in his voice. I look at the man I love not knowing what to do. I hurt me to see him in so much pain not being able to take it from him. Then I saw Lo'ak sneaking up behind Quadritch with a knife in his hand.
"Oh you won't be able to witness what I get away with." Quadritch whispers vilely before looking at my parents in law "Let's see what happens." He raises his knife and at that moment Lo'ak jumped on Quadritch from behind stabbing his shoulder. The Demon let go of Neteyam who fell on the ground and threw Lo'ak of him over his head. I then charged with the knife I took from my mother before slicing the Demon his neck. I watched him fall on his knees staring up at me. I showed him my fangs "Never threaten my mate ever again." Then I saw him close his eyes as he draws his last breath. I look up to see Jake helping Lo'ak up and my parents hugging while Tuk and Neytiri were surrounding Neteyam. I walked over to them and sank on my knees before my eyes met Neteyam. I smiled "I thought I lost you."
"As did I." he whispers placing his forehead against mine "I see you, Ao'nung."
"I see you." I reply.
"We should go to the others." Neteyam got up looking at our mothers "Kiri was hurt."
