Chapter 25: Ao'nung p.o.v

The past days we have been rebuilding our homes and continued on living like we were used to. We still mourned those we lost in the attack but decided not to confront the sky people in order not to lose anyone else. We discussed it since we wanted to avenge out people but we were not going in unprepared. My father and Jake sully had discussed different options many times and the only thing they could think of was rebuilding our home and then later convince all the Clans on Pandora to work together and end the sky people once and forever. Only that plan took a lot of time and we needed to take care of our own clan first. "Ao'nung." Tsiyera came running over with Asina.
"We decorated it." Asina giggles showing me a flower.
"It is done?" I look between them with a smile.
"Yes." Tsiyera smiles "it is already."
"And you haven't told anyone about this?" I ask.
"I told Tuktirey." Asina looks embarrassed "but she told me, she wouldn't say it to anyone else."
I shake my head at her at my youngest sister with a small smile " I hope so, since it is a surprise."
"Don't worry big brother, no one will ruin the surprise." Tsiyera says with a smile "So tonight is the night right?"
"Yes." I reply "Tonight is the night."
"Well I wish you good luck." She winks at me "But do tell me what it is like after, we are going to talk about this."
"Hey guys." Roxto walks over to us.
"Not now." Tsiyera grabs his arm. I laughed as my sister dragged my clueless best friend after her.

I walked over to the Sully's home where I saw the entire family fixing their roof. They wanted to help the other villagers first before fixing their own home, what was very noble of them. I believe a part of them felt guilty about the situation with the sky people, that mostly wouldn't have been occurred if they never sought refuge among our clan even though they are now part of the people. I saw Tuktirey on the roof with a sly smile "Oh Neteyam." She says in a teasing voice"Your boyfriend is here."
I place a finger on my lips as a sign she needed to be quiet, she giggled and nodded as Neteyam came walking out of the hut with a bright smile. He picked me up in a bone crushing hug "Hello handsome." He says before kissing me.
"Slow down." I chuckle placing my hands on his chest "Why don't you come with me."
"Where to?" he asks me curious.
"Because I want to mate with you." I bit my lip "and I think we have been waiting long enough."
Neteyam looked at my lips before turning around his tail grazing my chin as he looks over his shoulder with a smirk "If you want me, come and catch me."
"With pleasure." I smile
Neteyam laughed yelling at his parents to tell them he was off, before running away from me. I chased after him as he dived into the water and waited for me, he was baiting me right this second giving me seductive glances as he called an Ilu. "Getting tired already love." Neteyam teases.
"Not of you." I say calling my own Ilu to swim towards him.
"Well you still haven't managed to catch me."
"I will." I say.
"Then try." He blows me a kiss before speeding off with his Ilu, me following after him.
