Chapter 27: Ao'nung p.o.v

I pulled Neteyam after me, our hands still intertwined as we walked alongside the beach. I wanted to show him the home I build for us. "Slow down." Neteyam smiles as I turn around to look at him, he looked ethereal in the starlight and now we have chosen to mate I felt this indescribable feeling of love whenever I looked at him. An emotion stronger than I ever felt before making me stop walking. He looked at me confused. I turned around and kissed him "I love you."
"I love you too." He smiles "Now show me our house.'
"We can redecorate it if you don't like it." I look at our hands intertwined "I had my sister help, but they will totally understand if we change it."
"I am sure, it will be great." He comforts me, leaning close to my ear before biting it making me moan "now come on I am getting impatience."
"Stop teasing me." I shake my head at him amused
Neteyam chuckled before biting in my ear "You know, you like it."
"Come on." I laugh as I walked him to our home. We reached the water as I build our hut above the ocean. I looked at my mate as he took in our home before he looked at me with adoration.
"You even build a landingsplatform for Summus." He says in disbelief.
"Well he belongs with you." I nod "So I couldn't just forget about him."
"Look who has come back." I heard Tsiyera say behind me.
I turn around to see both our family's watching with amusement "What are you doing here?" I ask them embarrassed hoping they hadn't witnessed our earlier interaction.
"My eldest got mated." My mother came over and wrapped both of us in a hug
"Mother." I grumble.
"Oh hush." She says.
"we just want to celebrate our family's becoming one." My father says placing a hand on my mothers shoulder pulling her away from us.
"I am so proud of you." Neytiri wraps us in a hug aswell.
"You two better be on your best behaviour infront of the little ones." Jake whispers "no more inappropriate touching outside the walls of your home."
Neteyan gasped in shock not believing what his father had said. "Dad, you can't say those things."
"Don't listen to your father." Neytiri tells him "He was way worse than you."
"I can imagine that." My father joins in the conversation.
"Please stop talking." I plead all of them.
"Maybe we shouldn't tell anyone until we are mated." Lo'ak says to Tsiyera to which all our parents turn to them in shock and anger.
"You wouldn't dare." Neytiri says to her youngest son.
"You guys are in trouble." Tuktirey says.
"Well why don't we let Neteyam and Ao'nung enjoy their night, they are newly mated." Kiri says picking up Asina "And I think you should head to bed."
"Great idea." My mother takes Asina from Kiri before turning to us "Enjoy."
"But be on time in the morning to get your first tatoos." My dad adds. Then our family left making us look at each other weirdly.
"That was so weird." I chuckle before looking at Neteyam
Neteyam looked at me with a smirk before pulling me at my necklace inside, pushing me against the wall "I do not want to talk about them." He says grabbing our queue, connecting us once again before he kissed me. I moan as we bonded and dug my fingers in his skin as he bit my lip.
"Then let's not talk." I reply taking the lead.
