Sterling got on the elevator, not saying a word. Tamryn looked at him, waiting for a reply, but only received a smirk.

"So you're ignoring me now?"

He looked forward. "Isn't this what you wanted? Me and you not acknowledging each other. Or you're the only one allowed to do that?"

She looked down as her prior behavior played back in her mind.

"It's nothing personal, Sterling. I'm trying to work things out with my fiancé."

"And I said congratulations."

"Why are you being like this?" Her eyes showed her sadness.

"I'm being appropriate...how else am I supposed to be?"

"Not rude. I only called you because you're his boss and..."

Sterling interrupted. "I'm his boss, not his babysitter."

"I was just trying to see if Larenz was okay."

"Call him."

"I did...but he's not answering, and I was worried."

"Not my problem."

The elevator stopped, and the doors opened. Sterling got off, leaving Tamryn behind. She wished she didn't care that he was being that way towards her...but it hurt.

Tamryn, get over it. You are an engaged woman. Sterling doesn't owe you anything or vice versa.

She shook off the chill that ran down her spine, then pressed the floor she needed to be on. This trip that started happily, wasn't ending the same, and she was ready to go back home.

Once she got back to her room, there was still no sign of Larenz. It took everything in her not to go look for him, but she decided to let him enjoy his trip and went to bed.

In my dreams, while I slept, I felt hands touching my legs, slowly moving up my thighs. Then kisses replaced the hands, and I wanted more.

"You want me to stop?" I could hear Sterling's voice.

"No."

The kisses continued all the way to my bare breasts. With the slightest touch my nipples hardened, and my body shivered.

When his lips moved up to my neck, it didn't feel the same. It was rough, dry and harsh. I opened my eyes to Larenz hovering over me but he didn't look like himself.

"You wanna fuck my boss...don't you, whore?"

His eyes were void and his skin looked rotten. He looked possessed.

"I asked you to marry me and this is how you do me. You ungrateful bitch!"

He straddled me as his hands wrapped around my neck. My breathing became restricted, it felt so real.

"Larenz! Please stop!"

The saliva from his mouth dripped onto my skin and burned. When he tried to kiss me, I screamed myself back to reality.

It was the next morning and I woke up to an empty bed. The dream I had about Larenz freaked me out, but my worry for his safety was getting the best of me.

I quickly got up and checked my phone.

"Four missed calls from Larenz."

I checked my text messages.

"Babe, I forgot to take my room card with me and I can't get in the room. Open the door."

There were a couple of text messages of the same nature. The first text message was sent at 2 am. I felt horrible but was still annoyed that he stayed out so late.
