Tamryn stared at Sterling, not knowing if what she was seeing was really him. His red glowing eyes made her think she may be in danger, but his smile was inviting, making her want to move closer.

"Come here, Tam. Don't be afraid."

His voice made tingles go down her spine.

"W-What happened to you?"

"Nothing, I'm fine." He lifted his hands.

There were no scars or bruises on his muscular tan body nor his face. He looked stronger and healthier than he did before.

"Come to me, baby. Let me hold you."

A force she had never felt before pulled her in his direction. Her movements weren't her own as her legs slowly walked towards him.

I want to stop but I can't.

It's okay, baby. I'm not going to hurt you.

Like a flash, Sterling grabbed Tamryn and held her close. She felt her body let go in his arms.

"I don't understand...You're possessed."

"I was, but I'm in full control now."

He kissed her lips, and she gave into his tongue in her mouth.

"They're right there!"

Sterling heard voices, and he hurried back into the dark cave. A barrier blocked anyone from getting inside as the pack members fired bullets into the darkness. They all watched each bullet ricochet off the invisible shield.

"Damnit! We can't get inside." Merla shouted.

"What do we do now?"

"Hope that Tamryn can get them both out of there alive."

Sterling held Tamryn in his arms, and he was determined not to let her go. She looked so afraid and confused. All he wanted to do was ease her mind.

Tamryn was laid on top of soft fur as the cool air inside the cave made her shiver.

"You're cold."

His body heat was enough to make her comfortable. When he kissed her lips, she moaned in response.

Sterling's hunger wouldn't let him stop as he undressed her, still kissing her lips and body. Tamryn could see his erection and her flower drip with need between her legs.

"Ah fuck!"

He entered inside her without stopping at her cries. His hips thrusted back and forth causing Tamryn's eyes to roll back in pure ecstasy.

Holding her hands above her head, she focused on him. He looked into her teary eyes.

"I, Alpha Sterling Aubreo, claim you, Tamryn Rhodes."

His teeth dug into her neck as his thrusts went harder and faster. His release inside her sent sparks of pleasure and satisfaction through every inch of his body.

"STERLING!!!" She screamed and squeezed his hands.

A white glow shot from her eyes, surrounding both of their bodies, and he removed his canines from her neck.

Tamryn's glowing eyes stared into his...he let go of her hands.

Soon, her hands touched his face, and sparkles fluttered against his skin.

"You're not possessed. But where is this dark energy coming from?" She asked softly.

"The shadow demon is a part of me now."

Tamryn's eyes went back to normal as his glowing red eyes became brighter. Suddenly, she felt extremely weak and could no longer keep her eyes open.

Sterling laid beside her, moving her body closer into his. He softly kissed her forehead as she quickly drifted off to sleep.

"Rest baby. I'm not going anywhere."

It's been three days and we still haven't been able to break the seal on the cave. Merla and the others headed back to pack territory but I was determined to get my alpha back to me.

There was a possibility that Tamryn was dead, but that wasn't my priority or worry. Sterling was my only reason for staying behind without the others knowing.

The invisible barrier was still on the cave's opening, and I wondered if there was another entry to the Wolf cave.

I hiked over top of the mountain, searching for a vulnerable foundation. After a few hours, I got some give way next to a pile of big rocks.

Cool air came from the small cracks, and I immediately began to move them. I made a big enough opening to crawl through, and instantly, I smelled my alpha's scent.

"Yes Mindy...you did it." I applaud myself.

I was careful walking through the cave as my wolf eyesight guided me in the darkness.

Then I saw a light of fire, flickering against the cave walls. The closer I got, there he was...my alpha, sitting with his muscular back facing me.

Before I could say a word, I felt my breathing become labored. My feet were lifted off the ground while I was pulled into his view.

There snuggled in his arms was a naked sleeping Tamryn.

"A-Alpha, the pack needs you...I need you. She is what's causing all your sorrows." I cried out my words.

"Please...I love you, Sterling."

His eyes were different as if something took over him. He stared at me with complete disgust, and I began to shake in fear.

"What a stupid bitch."
