DEAN'S POV

"We are going out to celebrate."I decreed as I closed the door behind me.

I swiftly kicked off my shoes putting them neatly on the rack next to River's much smaller but matching pair of Air Jordans. A bored stay-at-home-due-to-injuries River meant a lot of online shopping and I was always included in her purchases. The girl even knew what size boxers I wore at this point not that I was complaining. Because of her I now owned a new set of Calvin Klein cotton boxer-briefs that felt like a dream.

River propped herself on the sofa with a tired sigh looking at me quizzically"Why?"

I took a seat next to her setting the pizza box in my hands on the coffee table infront of me. I opened the box, pulled a piece out and took a big bite.

"I'll tell you why my beautiful waridi, you just got a clean bill of health from the doctor and if I remember correctly I owe you a remake of your twenty first birthday."I declared.

"Dean, I'm closer to twenty two than I am to twenty one."River argued taking a slice of pizza for herself.

She had thought it would be funny to celebrate the doctor giving her a clean bill of health by buying the very thing that had caused her unfortunate accident in the first place.

"I don't care, we are going."I insisted.

I wanted to take River out to town and show her how Kenyans partied. Now that she was back to full health I was taking that opportunity very seriously.

"Have I told you that you are a bully?"River asked.

I grinned at her finishing the slice in hand and picking up another. "Many times before but it doesn't change a thing. I hope you have a sexy outfit in those bags of yours, or you can just wear jeans. You'll look good either way."

Just the thought of River in a sexy little number had my thoughts running wild.

"Thanks you smooth talker. And pray tell, where are we going for the so called celebrations?"My beautiful roommate inquired.

"Let me worry about that darling. You just focus on looking pretty."I grinned tweaking her nose.

River swatted my hand off wriggling her nose to get rid of the irritation. She looked so cute it was ridiculously dangerous for my heart but I didn't stop myself. I was like a moth drawn to a flame knowing that I would burn but making no effort to turn back.

We still had a few hours to kill until dusk so I grabbed us a couple of sodas from the fridge and turned the TV on. River decided an action movie would be good so we watched the Red Notice bidding time until party hours were upon us.

"Wow."I breathed watching River come down the steps towards the car.

She had kicked me out for the last one hour demanding time to get ready. Every impatient and excruciating minute seemed so worth it now as I watched her strut towards me with a level of confidence that rivaled a certain Jenner on the runway.

River stood a breath away from me, her intoxicating scent wafting into my nose making me heady. Her make up was perfect as always, lips coated in that crimson shade that always had me denting my pants in response. Oh what I would give to have those cherry red lips wrapped around my cock.

Calm down Dean. I scolded myself. It was the wrong place and time to be having such wayward thoughts. But at the same time I couldn't help myself especially when River looked so exquisite.

"This little number good enough for what you have planned tonight?"River asked twirling around for me unprompted.

A quote about every girl needing a little black dress crossed my mind as I watched River in the black sparkly bodycon short black dress that did wonders for her soft curves. It ended mid thigh with a teasing slit up one of her legs showing a delectable amount of skin. Her skin glowed in the moonlight and overhead street lights as her bare arms pricked with goosebumps. I wanted to run my tongue over her golden skin but I reigned in that monster as it was not the time or place to be having such feelings.
