The hum flooded through the air on a cold night, it was soft and gentle like a mother singing their child to sleep and the young prince can't help but look out his window to a vast, lush forest behind it with it's large, beautiful trees and the flowers with mushrooms that seemed to glow in the dim moon light. Tommy sighed and rested his head in his hand before closing his eyes wishing to hear more of the soft hum before the large door to his room opened letting light in "Talitha? What are you doing up?" Asked a female voice that tommy couldn't bare to stand but had too "looking at the star's," he said without any emotion in his voice "and it's tommy not talitha" he didn't like his step mother and he knew his father -Philza the king of L'manburg- didn't like her much either, she sighed and tommy could feel her roll her eyes "no talitha, your name isn't tommy and you're a princess so you should start acting like one" she said walking father into the room, tommy rolled his eyes at her and groaned "as your mother-" she began but tommy cut her off in a harsh tone "you are not my mother, you can't even have children!" She looked at him in silence and she made a growl like sound and stomped over to tommy. 

She grabbed his by his short, fluffy, dirty-blond hair and pulled yelling "you should treat me with respect you little shit!" Tommy held on to her wrist and tried to pull away feeling tears flood into his eyes, once tommy knew he couldn't get out of the hold he let out a curling scream "DAD! HELP SHE'S HURTING ME!" The scream was so loud you could hear it across the castle and because of that phil, Wilbur, and techno rushed over with the guard's, once seeing what sinnamon -the woman phil had to marry- was doing and the crying mess tommy was in they wasted no time coming to Tommy's side "guard's take her to her room and keep her there!" Phil ordered and the guards did being the fact they had to drag her as she screamed out that 'talitha' was to blame. Wilbur and techno -Tommy's older brother's- came to his side and shushed him "hey tommy, you alright? Did she do anything else?" Wilbur asked as he held onto Tommy's arms, tommy shook his head but regretted as a throb was sent through making him squeeze his eyes shut and hiss quietly in pain, techno picked tommy up and placed him in his bed "get some rest tommy, we'll deal with her" he said with a carrying voice that can only be heard when he was talking to his family, tommy groaned but kept his eyes closed as he heard hushed voices file out the room "keep stand by his room, she try's to get in escort her back to her own room" phil told the guard and butler that were always by Tommy's side "yes sir" they said at the same time.

The next morning tommy woke up to his butler and guard standing over his bed like the creeps they were "what the fuck are you two doing now?" He asked with slight amazement, the guard playfully snickered "we're watching over you" he said and tommy rolled his eyes as he sat up "the only one who could do that is ranboo, you're looking up to me not over me" tommy said and to anyone else it'd sound like he was being a dick but to the two in the room just played along with a fake gasp and a laugh from ranboo -the butler- and tommy. After tommy had gotten up and dressed, they walked down the large halls listening to ranboo tell tommy what he had to do for the day "you have to read book numbers 137 and 138 to day, after that you have a meeting with your father about the rules and how to think request out, then you have some free time before you have to train with knight technoblade" tommy and tubbo -the guard- rolled their eyes at the way ranboo spoke "yeah sure, also you don't need to talk like that, dad even said you can just call us by our names" tommy said and ranboo sighed "yeah I know, just a old habit from my mother" he said; ranboo's mom -or one of them at least- used to work for Tommy's mom and she was also always formal with everything, from the way she walked to the way she ate.
