Frozen mind, warm heart

Bad was alone after the egg, no one wanted to be around them and skeppy ending with the kids. Bad hated being alone but he knew it was on him, on them for having wants and needs, for wanting to have everything go back to normal, it was on them. Bad lived in an old cottage in the woods and he could say it wasn't half bad, being alone was horrible but they made do and they could finally pay more attention to their spells and potions and trying to get stronger; wondering around the house always made them cry, seeing the rooms that he had made for his kids went the house was built but now the rooms would never be used for what they had intended. Bad had moved the bed's into one room and used the rest for a spell room then an art room, the art room was somewhere bad would go to calm down and relax sometimes they painted forests, rivers, mountains along with other things, but sometimes he'd paint his past friends and family.

Bad woke up and seen they were still in the spell room, they stretched out his arms only to hear a bottle slide off the table onto the floor "oh muffins" they mumbled and grabbed a towel and cleaning the mess, picking up the glass they looked at the tag that read 'gelu spiritum' or 'frost breath' "aww man I really wanted to test this out" he said and rubbed the back of their head. Bad had changed from the pair of shorts and large shirt to a pair of black pants with a long mahogany red petticoat then a jet black skirt on top then a long sleeve turtleneck black sweater.

Bad walked outside and started his way to the snow biomo(idk how to spell it) as the thing he needed was a Glaze Lily but most people call it an ice lily, they sped their wings and jumped into the sky and flew to the cold land that no one owned nor lived in, besides one. Bad landed in the snow and walked knowing that if they continued to fly he would miss it, walking around they felt the wind blow past them and they shivered slightly. It was easy to see the light purple and blue color in the white, never ending land. Bad seen one sitting just above the cold snow, bad rushed over and stopped, bending down and gently plucking it before standing, it was dumb to rush in such a heavily covered area but bad didn't care always finding the feeling of death almost relaxing in a way till he responded -that train of thought was probably why he had only one monthly and life hearts left to use- they shook their head and continued to walk.

Bad walked on holding the flower close to his chest, the wind howled loudly in his ears.

So loudly they didn't hear the ice breaking.

Didn't hear the scream for him to move.

Didn't hear anything till it was to late.

Though death was something bad had wanted.

They didn't want it to be like this.

Techno was always one for living alone, he liked the quiet and space he needed to do things. He was walking through his land getting back from a meeting with a new potential ally and couldn't help the feeling of slight ache in his chest when he seen skeppy at the meeting rather than bad. Bad had disappeared after the egg shit had ended and foolish had said that bad used to stay with him but had left one night after they had gotten into an argument, to techno it was foolish of the Demi god to let the demon wonder off unarmed but then again he also knew that bad he more than enough power to protect himself.

Walking in the snow was slow but he didn't mind, he looked around him as the wind picked up trying to find a faster way to his house when his eyes landed on a black figure walking a bit far away 'bad?!' He thought though he felt panic as he realized bad was walking over the large ice lake "BAD!!" He called out trying to rush to them wishing he had his horse "BAD GET OFF THE ICE!!" He called out but when he was only a few feet away bad's form disappeared with a loud but short scream. Techno tried to get to the hole in the ice faster or a least closer so he could grab bad's hand and pull them out, bad's head bobbed in and out of the water as they struggled to swim in the icy waters and seeing techno they tried to reach for him but techno couldn't get any closer with falling in himself and that wouldn't do any of them good "bad! Bad reach for my hand, come on buddy!" He said trying his best to get as close as he could but bad couldn't get a good hold to reach for techno's hand.

Soon bad grew tired and his legs started to hurt and they slipped under the ice "BAD!!" Techno yelled out getting closer but the ice fell threw a bit making techno quickly back up not wanting to fall in, techno sat in the snow for a bit looking at the hole hopping to see bad's white hair pop back up and continuing reaching for techno's hand but when the smp communicator went off techno felt his heart ache and he pulled it out hoping that it was just qauckity or tommy texting something but instead the screen when red and showed the outline of three hearts -one of them already being black- then one of them turning black as it read '[Badboyhalo drowned: one life left]' techno froze and not from the icy wind blowing past him.

Days past and there was no indication that bad had come back, they had thought the indicator messed up so everyone followed skeppy to the places they knew bad loved the most but everywhere look abandoned, expecily the house and garden or clearing that bad made home as the clearing was starting to get over grown and the house was cold and no longer held the warmth it once did. Foolish and techno blamed themselves as it was foolish's fault for making bad leave his side and techno's for not trying harder to get to bad "tech it wasn't your fault, you couldn't have gotten there any faster" dream said, he along with many others where hit hard by the message as dream knew bad for almost his whole life, techno sighed and rubbed his face "I could have gone faster, he was right there. Right there" techno said the end turning into a whisper and dream sighed rubbing his back.

Techno hopped bad would come back soon.
