Chapter 5.1

"Horikita-san, it seems like we're in a bit of trouble now, are we?"

"It definitely seems like it." I responded. After saying that, I quickly gave the message "PTSUON granted" to the people.

I was with Kushida-san and Hirata-kun. Of course, with some company such as Sudou-kun, Shinohara-san and Hasebe-san.

But we've ran into some trouble.

It was 12:16 AM, after I got confirmation from our Werewolves that they started 'hunting' for the humans, we decided to roam through the school. After eavesdropping those three conversations with each other 2 hours ago, I asked them if we can meet up in an isolated area. I deliberately told them that I wanted to talk to them about something important regarding Class 2-B and Class 2-A matters. Was it a good idea?

Absolutely not.

But the primary goal was to lure out Werewolves and eliminate them as quickly as we could. Hirata-kun, Sudou-kun and Shinohara-san were our hunters while the other 2 girls were our healers.

In the situation that we were outmatched or faced overpowered foes, we would have to retreat while a hunter or two would distract them. Of course, if they were staying by our hunters while they're 'down', that would pose some problems, but we already have a back-up plan if that happens.

But we saw about 3 Werewolves, I have no idea what class they were from but judging by their height and mannerisms, they were probably from Class 2-A or Class 1-A if I was proven wrong. Just as the rules said, the Werewolves were dressed in an all-black costume, covering any skin that was shown. Night goggles were equipped, and they had advanced hearing aids to hear things from yards away.

Of course, they could talk but that would be a very horrible idea to do.

"Sudou-kun, Shinohara-san, be on standby."

"Got it." They both responded to me.

All three of them (the Werewolves) were female. Not that I would underestimate them solely based on their gender, but unless they were fast enough to dodge the hunter's shots or attacked us quickly before we can revert our watches, I was certain we may survive this encounter.

The Werewolf in the middle of the group slowly starts walking towards us before running quickly towards Miyake-kun.

"Yo! Shinohara, watch out!"

"Right, right!"

Shinohara-san aimed her laser gun at the Werewolf, carefully aiming before firing.

"Damn it, she's missing!"

"She's moving too quickly! She's going in zigzags!"

Shinohara aimed her laser gun more sturdily before pressing the trigger again.

Either by sheer luck or skill, it hits the black button on the Werewolf's chest and the button turns white.

And of course, the Werewolf stomps on the ground lightly in response.

"Hey, do you like eating Sobu?" I said to the two Werewolves.

In confusion, they both looked at each other.

Which is what I wanted.

Miyake-kun and Ike-kun jumped on them (not literally) and held them by their arms.

"Shinohara-san, shoot at one of them now!"

"Wait, only one? Why!?"

"Don't ask, just do it!"

Doing as I said, she aimed at the Werewolf Miyake-kun was grabbing and shot at their black button, turning white in the process.

"Miyake-kun, let go of her and press the other Werewolf's button that Ike-kun's holding."

"Wait, will that even work?"

"It's necessary, please do it."

"A-alright then..."

Even though Miyake-kun's a Werewolf, I need to test if it actually works.

He made his way to the Werewolf and lightly pressed the button.

It turned white.

"Alright then, it works then."

"Won't this make me a traitor? Wait if anything, aren't we supposed to let the-"

"Don't talk about it in front of them, and yes, I know this wasn't our original strategy. Now that we know that they weren't lying about this, we can continue with our original plan."

Now that I tested that, there were a couple of other things I wanted to experiment with. Of course, my classmates already know this since I told them, but I never told them about this part specifically.

"Alright, let's continue roaming before we encounter with another Werewolf."
