After exiting the room, I began walking towards my way to my dorm.

"It's rather unfortunate for those students." I said to myself.

I've met up with several people today, I must say, it's tiring. Now with that out of the way, I can safely to go-

"... Seems like the monster had something to do in the night, eh?"

"Why is it that I always cross paths with you, Ryuen?"

Interrupting my thoughts, Ryuen was seen with a black jacket, walking towards me.

"C'mon, let's go to Keyaki Mall and relax, shall we? Katsuragi's waiting over there."

"I'd rather relax in my own dorm and sleep."

"Tch," He seem annoyed but began grinning immediately afterwards. Why does he seem to energetic? "Oi, why are you even awake at this hour?"

"I could ask the same thing for you, shouldn't I?"

"I won't tell."

"Then doesn't that give me the right to not tell as well?"

"Tch, I guess you got me there..." He balled his hands to fist before putting them in his jacket pocket.

"Ryuen." I begin speaking, "You're going after Class A, right? What're you going to do?"

"I'm doing a little something to Class A, if they allow me to. If they don't, I'll simply resort to other measures."

"Other measures?"

"Not that you need to know, since you're doing nothing."

"I'll be doing something, that involves me not getting eliminated."

"Pft! Didn't you say you were a resident before? Tough luck."

"At least I can somewhat help or take things slow." Seeing no point in this conversation, I began walking away to my dorm as he did the same, walking away from me.

"One more thing Ryuen."

"Hm?" I assumed his turn away guessing by the fact his footsteps were not audible.

"You're going to win this exam, or rather you'll win against Sakayanagi."

"What makes you be sure about that? Don't tell me you're intervening..."

"I'm not, it's your battle. It's my intuition telling me that."

Or rather my thinking, I suppose.

After a long night of rest, I woke up to my alarm and began dressing. It was the 2nd day, the post on our phones will be updated by the amount of students who are still in the special exam.

After doing my regular schedule and putting on my watch for the exam, I exited my dorm and began walking to my class. Upon entering, it seemed normal as it usually is.

"Ah, Ayanokouji-kun, you're here."

Horikita walked up to me and sighed, "We've already lost a couple of students in this exam."

"Is that so?"

"If anything, at least 5 students have been eliminated from each class in one night alone."

Interesting, so at least 60 students have been eliminated? That's quite fast for one night.

"Since there's no school for this exam, I've already been investigating who's eliminated our classmates."
