Tokumei was ecstatic. His first friend. To top it all off, she was his classmate so he'd have to see her often. That and he has an actual reason to go to school now asides from avoiding becoming a neet. It would actually be boring if he decided to just hang out with her in just school. Not to mention, he's not that intimate with her yet so he can't just invite her to his house out of the blue.

He decided to check out the mall for something fun to do. Maybe he could give Hitori a place to buy some guitars or brand new track suits. A place to eat would also be nice. Maybe an arcade or a cinema? Wait, he doesn't know what kind of movies she's into.

Maybe horror would be hilarious. He's not really afraid of horror movies... Well, when it's just him watching. Honestly, he finds more fun in laughing at other people's reactions to the jumpscares.

Maybe a romantic one? No no. That would give the wrong idea.

Comedy would be good.

Wait, why is he thinking about this like a date? No, this isn't a date. He's just here to go explore the mall for a bit. It's definitely not to avoid his sister. He slaps himself twice to get himself out of it.

However, he would come to regret this action since this would bring the attention of the one girl that he would dread having to be with for the rest of his life.

"Your cheeks aren't drums. Stop that," a voice came behind him.

"What?" He turned around to see a girl slightly shorter than him. Blue hair with similar hue of green eyes. She wore a black collared shirt tucked inside long maroon pants with a pair of leather shoes.

"You heard what I said," She nonchalantly brushed past him. He only now noticed that in the basket she had were some men's clothing. Odd. Did he brush past a guy? Or was she just buying things for her boyfriend.

Speaking of clothes, he's got to upgrade his wardrobe. The only thing he's been wearing is the same old used goth clothes his sister outgrew. He loves black don't get him wrong but he needs something new. Besides, it's annoying to keep washing the same old clothes every week or so.

'Should I ask her for some recommendations for clothing?'

'Wow, asking a girl for men's wear. Do you live under a rock?'

'I live in a room filled with spiders of course I do.'

'Oh damn another spider on my face-'

"Are you going to eat that?" The same girl asked him.

"Eat what?" Tokumei asked.

"The spider on your face," She replied.

"No...," he replied.

"Hold still, I wouldn't want it to end up in the floor-" She inched closer to his right cheek. The sound of her saying "Ahh" echoed through his ears. No way. Was this really going to be how he would get kissed on the cheek by some chick he's never gotten to know?

He placed his right hand to block her lips. His face was red as a tomato. He put on his hoodie and then explained, "If you're hungry, there's some restaurants over there. I'd recommend Starpucks-"

"I don't have money," the girl replied blankly.

"Then why are you buying clothes?!" He replied with a shocked glare.

"I was going to ask the cashier if she accepted basses as payment," she shrugged.

'She's either broke or bad with money.'

'Doesn't that mean the same thing?'

'Fair.'

"Tell you what, I'll pay for the clothes and your dinner today. In exchange, you pick out some clothes for me," he felt bad of taking advantage of this girl. Although, he does need some new clothes. Can't walk outside looking like an outdated goth kid. To be fair, all he wore was black. He might as well be invisible at the night.

"Understood. I'll get you the best maid outfit this mall has to offer," She pumped her fist and immediately went to the women's section.

"NOT THOSE KIND OF CLOTHES-" He ran after her.

"Are you sure you don't want it? You'd look adorable in one," She smirked.

"I want the clothes that you're wearing," He clarified.

"You want to wear panties?" She raised an eyebrow.

Tokumei turned around. Steam immediately left through his forehead. He breathed in and out to calm himself down. He looked at the girl straight in the eye and explained, "...The clothes you're buying. Where can I find something like that? I'm sure your fashion sense is good enough for the both of us."

"Oh. I'm flattered, but you won't end up as good in that outfit as I would," She walked past him and went back to the men's section. "What colors do you like?"

"Purple, black and white," He raised three fingers as he listed his favorite colors.

"Are you a goth or something?" She rummaged through the clothes looking for something that would fit his description.

"My sister is. Guess it runs in the family," He reached down to pick up another basket for his clothes. Immediately, the girl placed a purple button shirt, a white hoodie with a sushi design in the middle of it and black gala pants.

"The hoodie is because I'm hungry. Now, the money for the counter and my dinner," She extended her hand and beckoned him.

"Not so fast, we're paying together," He brushed her hand aside and went to the counter. He looked at her and then shamefully admitted. "I don't even know your name."

"Susie Honeybunny," She lied as easily as she breathed.

"Liar. You don't look foreign," He huffed.

"Ryo Yamada," She admitted it.

"Tokumei Sistemu," He introduced himself.

"Did your parents hate you or are you just a chuuni?" She chuckled after hearing his name. "Honestly, hearing you seriously say that your name is Tokumei is hilarious."

"And no money for you," He paid for his clothes and prepared to leave.

"Wait no, please I haven't eaten for days. My only breakfast was a dandelion and even those are running out," She grabbed him on the sleeve. She immediately put on a sad expression to guilt trip him into fulfilling his end of the bargain. "You wouldn't leave me starving and broke out here would you?"

'Would I?'

'No. Be a man. Help her out. Your sister raised you better than this.'

'Fine.'

"Thanks," She said as he bought her clothes.

"Shall we have dinner?" He picked up her clothes and headed to Starpucks.

"I might have some of your share since that dandelion did not do justice to my stomach acid."

"I can't tell if you're joking or serious," He looked at her with bewilderment.

"Do you really think a lovely lady like myself would joke about starvation?" She placed her hand on her chest and pretended to be a dainty, fragile young princess. Honestly, she looked like a prince in his perspective.

"Fair enough," He pulled down his hood. Their green eyes made contact before he turned the other way. His face turned slightly red from that. Hitori was fine since she was a classmate, but this girl... She's definitely older than him. Not to mention has this dominating aura.

'No way am I going to convince her to pretend to be my girlfriend. She's too... unpredictable.'

'That's the fun part isn't it?'

'Zip it.'

"Also, can I have your phone number?" She pulled out her phone.

"So we can be friends?" He turned his head back with a happy smile on his face.

"Yes and friends let their friends mooch off them."

"They do?"

"They do."

"Fine. Just don't do it often," He reached into his pocket, unlocked the lock screen, opened the contacts and handed her his phone.

"No promises on that," She smirked while inputting her contacts on his phone.
