Author: Happy Birthday Tokumei

"I'm not dreaming am I?" Tokumei asked.

"Nope. That's Seika for: You guys passed," PA-san gave a thumbs up.

Hitori then tapped Tokumei's shoulder twice. He brought out a barf bag from his backpack and handed it to her. Then, she spat out a literal liquid rainbow inside of it. Kinda weird on how rainbows smell like katsudon.

"We did it!" Kita jumped up in the air.

"Why wouldn't we? I did train this band after all," Ryo smirked.

"At least we actually have another live," Nijika leaned her head back. She sighed a breath of relief. She didn't think that they would actually pass this. But she's so glad that she did. Now that big hurdle was over with, they've got to think of the next step.

"I'm taking a shower," Tokumei went to the bathroom. He then checked to see if Hiroi is still on the table. He opened the door. She's not there. He got his spare clothes and went inside the room.

Before he did, Seika reminded, "Don't forget. You guys need to sell 4 tickets each to fill your quota." PA-san handed them out to each of them. 4 for the each of them makes 20. That's twice than the first live, but that's an improvement since that's expected.

Tokumei entered the shower room, "I'll see you all tomorrow."

"Yeah. You're free to go guys," Nijika dismissed the band.

Kita and Ryo went off to buy some trendy new clothes. Hitori went back home, exhausted from having enough social interaction for one day. PA-san and Seika went off to throw Hiroi out of the live house once again.

Leaving Nijika alone with Tokumei.

She stood beside the door to the shower room. She sat down on the floor. She said, "Hey, Tokumei..."

"Yeah?" He responded.

She could hear the water droplets fall to the floor. Yep. He was... using the room the way it was supposed to be used. She shook off the idea. She then continued the conversation, "You don't need to put so much effort, you know? Mistakes are inevitable when it comes to lives and we're not supposed to be perfect. We're supposed to entertain."

"I know..., but... how do I say this? I'm the only one who doesn't have an instrument to play. I'm pretty much useless without the mic honestly. So at the very least, I could help the band through other means. No matter what," He replied. "Ow. Shampoo in my eyes." He breathed in through his teeth as the stinging hurt his green eyes.

"I admire your enthusiasm, but... if you keep staying up all night practicing, you won't end up happy, you know?" She replied. She held her legs to bring her knees closer to her chest. "I get that you've improved a lot. You're getting more social. You're getting closer to the band bit by bit, but... Surely you have other things in life that matter to you right? Other things to focus on?"

"I wish I had," He answered bluntly. "I only have my sister and you guys currently."

"Ah," She felt like she touched on a difficult subject.

"I do have school... Gonna be honest, Hitori's pretty much the only classmate I care about. Everyone else I can forget about for all I care. Not that they'd care much for a guy who disappears at every chance he could."

"What about your pare-"

"Dead."

"Ah."

"Car crash. Stupid accident."
