Prologue: Nightmare

"Did you seriously just simp for your big sister?" PA-san asked her little brother. 

"SHUT UP! I- uh, DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS YOU!" Tokumei-

Author: (cough, cough not his real name) 

-screamed at the top of his lungs. He honestly didn't know that his favorite v-tuber, Alta Otogi. THE Alta Otogi was his big sister. To put more salt in the wound, he has successfully donated like 5 red superchats to his one and only oshi. At the very least, he knows that his money is still right there with the family, BUT THAT'S THE ISSUE. 

"Well, that explains why my merchandise is always delivered to our place," PA-san laughed. "I never knew you were that desperate to simp for a v-tuber of all things. Don't you at least have a girlfriend?"

"I simp for v-tubers. DO YOU THINK I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?" Tokumei buried his face in his pillow. "I'm pretty sure I'm gonna die alone and unloved. It's hopeless for me. I'm just going to keep simping just to get the smallest semblance of love since I don't get any in real life. Thank you internet for being my only hope."

"Don't be like that. That's kinda cringey you know," his sister's words shot through his heart. 

"Any more roasts from you and I'd be dead," Tokumei proceeded to crawl under his bed. "I'll just die here. It's already nice and dark. The spiders and dust bunnies will be my new friends now." 

"Tell you what. If you don't get a girlfriend by the end of the year... I will tell the story of how my little brother became a simp for the one and only Alta Otogi." 

"You wouldn't do that to me right?" He poked his head from out of the bottom of the bed. Dust bunnies were parading his pitch black hair. Not to mention, the cluster of spiders crawling on his neck. "You wouldn't publicly humiliate me for being a loser in front of like hundreds of people right?"

"I don't know... Would I?"

"YOU DEMON!" Tokumei looked at the spiders on his head. "Spiders go get my sister and tie her up- AH! Spider in my mouth get out of there!"

"So do we have a deal?"

Tokumei spat out the spider in his mouth. He shook his head to both have denial and to also get rid of the spiders and dust on his head. "No way! I'm definitely going to lose! You might as well tell your fans about it. I'll just never use the internet again!" 

"You do realize that if you win, you get a girlfriend right?" PA-san extended her hand to help her brother out of his bed.

"WE HAVE A DEAL," Tokumei took her hand. "Wait no-"

"Too late," His sister pulled him out of the bed. She pushed him out of his room and pointed to the great outdoors. "Now, go to school and get some girls! Do it for your oshi!"

"YOU'RE NO LONGER MY OSHI!" Tokumei grabbed his bento box and ran outside. 

Probably to anywhere but school.
