He's never going to take Ryo out for dinner again. She ordered the entire damn menu. It's a good thing that he stopped her, but that didn't stop her from guilt tripping him into giving her his share. He just hopes he never has to see her as often compared to Hitori.

Speaking of Hitori, it's another day in school. While walking to his classroom, his mind was occupied with how to approach Hitori. He just hopes he can be better friends with her now that he's got some sort of experience thanks to Ryo. He just hopes that Hitori won't be like her when he's eventually going to ask her out to dinner.

No.

Not ask her out.

Ask her to hang out in a restaurant.

There's a HUGE difference. A huge one. He's not into her. He's just trying to make a friend. Who is a girl. A girl friend. There's a space in the middle. You know the friend zone. Stay in that zone, Tokumei. You're no popular guy. If you were, you'd have a lot of friends by now.

A red head girl walked past him. Tokumei then noticed that she had friends. More than three apparently. Wow, such a foreign concept. Immediately, Tokumei was jealous. She had her own friend group and was somehow able to be herself around them. He wishes he could be like that.

He then proceeds to walk past her. He pulls on the hood of the hoodie that Ryo picked for him. Unfortunately for him, that got him noticed.

"Excuse me," the red head said.

'She's not talking to you,' Tokumei thought to himself.

'She's talking to her friends. You're not her friend. She's a popular girl from another class. There's no way that she'll-'

She tapped his shoulder twice. He turned around and jerked back his head. Do girls normally get so close with other people physically or was he just really bad at being social? Maybe both. Nevertheless, he placed a hand on the wall to prevent his fall.

"Oh sorry about that. Are you okay?" She immediately crouched to check on him.

"Yeah. Nothing major," He said.

"Good. Um, you're Ryo-senpai's friend right?" She asked.

'OH COME ON-'

'Don't say yes damn it. Don't say yes.'

"Oh yeah, she's my friend. Why do you ask?" Tokumei laughed it off.

'WHY DID YOU SAY YES?'

'I PRESSED THE WRONG BUTTON.'

'WHAT BUTTON WE'RE BRAINCELLS-'

"Can you uh, apologize to her for me?" She stood back up and gave an awkward laugh. She looked at the floor, looking downcast. "I did something uncool and I don't think I have the courage to look at her again."

"I don't think Ryo's the type to hold grudges- Wait, what am I saying- How'd you know that Ryo's my friend?" Tokumei quickly changed the subject. Was she a stalker or something? Maybe she's actually dangerous. Maybe that red hair is a sign that she's killed her victims and dyed her hair in their blood-
