Chapter 5: Resonating Spring I

"Eh?! You went and had dinner with Kyouhei at his house?!"

"Don't say it out loud, Sora-kun! i-It's embarassing."

And I want some quiet and peace here. I want to sleep. Urgh.

"That is so unfair! Kyouhei! You better bring me over to your house one day! Make that day come as soon as possible!"

"What kind of person would force someone to bring them to their house?"

"I'm not just any person! I'm your friend! Your first friend!"

"..fine."

"Yes!"

If I had argued any further, there's only a slim chance that Sora would give up. I just know it. Plus, just thinking of arguing with him gives me a headache. I hope this should keep him quiet for a while.

I want my sleep.

"Ah!"

Mei clapped her hand loudly. Why is it so hard for me to get some peace here?!

"How about we come to your house this weekend for a studying session?"

"Oh, great idea! Exam's just around the corner after all." Sora said and I could just hear the excitement from his tone.

Great, just great.

Oh well, things haven't gotten as lively as this in a long time.

The bell rang signalling that school is about to start and so all three of us left the clubroom and walk towards our class.

Along the way, I just know that today is going to be mundane.

And I was right when, yet again I fell asleep in class. Not to be rude but the words that came out of the teacher's mouth was pretty boring and repititive that it pretty much lulled me to sleep.

The teacher didn't seem to mind me sleeping in class but..

Now that I have become friends with Sora, said person had tried everything in his power to prevent me from sleeping.

"Oi, we're friends. Why are you doing this."

"It's because we're friends is why I'm doing this. Plus, it's fun."

Why? That doesn't make sense.

Oh, that's it! I'm going to the library after this to get some sleep.

Class ended and when recess came, I immediately dashed to the library.

"Eh, Kyouhei? Where are-"

Sora's words were left unheard since I was already long gone from that clsss.

Ah, the library. The place where there is nothing but peace and quiet. A perfect place to sleep.

Hm, now where should I sleep? This library has a lot of place to sit, huh? I should probably choose a more deserted area so that Sora nor Mei could find me. Hm, maybe I should try the back area.

Walking to the back of the library, I found out that there was this one small gap in betwen two shelves that aroused my curiousity. Just by looking at it, I could tell that people with a small and lean body could fit through it. How very suspicious.

When I looked in between those shelves, there it was, my ideal spot. There were two tables and chairs placed facing each other and it's right beside the window. Just perfect.

Luckily I have a very lean body so I managed to pass through the gap with little difficulty.

"Alright! Time to sleep!"
