The end of the ferris wheel was quiet. It was very nervewrecking. I just admitted to Kyouhei that I do love someone. He is a genius. If he connects the dots then surely he would realise...

That I love him..

If he returned my feelings... if he loves me as well.. then surely I would be the most happiest person in this world.. just imagine the kinds of things we could do as a REAL couple..

..but this is not a fairy tale. There's no happy ending to it. I was sure of it...

After all, this was not the first time that I had seen such events... it may be different but it had always lead to the same conclusion..

That is just how cruel this world is.

Even this dream is not spared from it. That is why... I will continue to enjoy this time we have together to my fullest. Even if the end is near..

"I... say, Haru. Why don't we go to the school rooftop? I need to clear my mind a bit."

"Sure. I wanted to go there as well. After all, I have achieved my goal."

The entire walk to school was like the two of us walking in a lane of memory. We were not old enough to do this but it just happened. I have achieved my goal after all. There was no wrong in me remembering back all the events that had led me to today.

It would be just like how you would feel during a graduation ceremony. You have come that far in school and in the end, you end with a bang. A long heart-warming speech about your happy moments, your sad moments. All in all, you would be talking about your entire life as a student.

This is the same. I am remembering about all the time I had with Kyouhei. After all, I am about to graduate from this dream.

Surely I would come to miss this one day.

"Is the school open at a time like this?"

"I don't think so. Doesn't look like we can just waltz in while there is a guard at the gate."

"... you thinking what I am thinking?"

"Sure do."

"Let's break in."

It was thrilling. It was the first time that I had actually break in into my own school nevertheless breaking into any property. The thrilling was enough to make me forget about everything and a smile made to my face as I looked at Kyouhei who was panting for air after we jumped off the gate.

"Great, not only had I been sleeping throughout the entire class, I am breaking into school grounds. What other rules am I going to break?"

"Seriously? I am putting a shame to my title as the school's ace!"

"Heh."

From a deranged smirk, the two of us broke into a full blown laughter despite having the risk of being caught by the school's guard.

"Well then, shall we go to the roof?"

"Sure!"

Hand in hand, the two of us entered the school building as we walked to the roof. Obviously enough, the school was lifeless. It's very surprising to see that. I mean, this place was brimming with life and yet it could be as dead as this...
