Chapter 35: You, Me and This Stupid Feeling II

"I wonder if I look good in this.."

Watching myself reflected on the mirror, I saw how odd it look seeing as I was wearing a really plain casual clothings.

"I mean, my knees are showing... yeah, it's better if I wear my hoodie..."

"No can do!"

"Mom?!"

"You are finally going out on a date, so I am not letting you waste it!"

"But mom! I look weird like this! Plus, it's my second date!"

"Second? Oh my~ tell me what happened on the first date~"

"Wha- what?!"

When I heard my mom asking ne that, my brain unconciously recalled all the events that had happened on the first date. I remembered all the advances that I did on him. I could not help but blush madly upon remembering it to the point my brain started to malfunction.

"Oh my~ so tell me, Haruhi-chan~"

"Mom!"

Maybe I should thank mom for making me remember that date. I finally had made my decision on what to wear for the date.

"Okay, I'm off."

"Sure. Take care of yourselves, Haruhi-chan."

Stepping out of the house, the shining ray of the sun bathed me and I could feel the wind kissing my skin. With one last glance at what I was wearing, a smile made its way on my face.

It was that light blue one piece dress that I had tried wearing on our first date. It was kind of weird actually, to be wearing something like this. I had never wore something so.. bold. I mean, my knees are showing! Then again, this was the first time that I had actually wore something so girlish. I remembered how I used to wear baggy clothes and top it off with a hoodie...

"If I want to impress Kyou, I have to show my feminine side!"

The walk to the station was kind of nervewrecking. The more close I get, the more anxious I get. I kept on wondering 'will he like it?' Or 'what is he wearing?' Or 'will we match?' Or 'where is going to take me?'..

..wait, where IS he going to take me to?

Before I realised it, I was already at the station and looking around, I saw the familiar figure wearing a blue t-shirt with grey pants. Wait, blue?!

We- we match!

Ah, what should I do?! What should I do?! We look totally matching today!? People are going to think that we are a couple! But we are a couple! But then! It's embarassing!! I could feel myself getting hot and it's not because of the weather!

But just imagine it! Me and Kyiy walking around with matching outfits while holding hands! Kyaaaa!! This is too embarassing! I need to go home and change! This is too much for my heart!

"Haru?"

"Eeeep!"

I felt a tap at my shoulder and I could not help but be surprised of the sudden contact. Turning around to the person that was touching me, I saw Kyou looking at me oddly but there was a tint of red on his cheeks.

Wait, is he blushing?! He is, isn't he?! Yes! Score for me! Wait, what?! Calm down, Haruhi!

"K- kyou? Yo- you surprised me."

"Ye- yeah. Sorry about that. Come on, the train is coming."

Catching me by surprised, Kyou grabbed hold of my hand and, either he realised it or not, intertwined our fingers. If I had a mirror and looked at myself at that time, I would have seen just how silly and red I looked.
