Run: Legacy

Run II- Patient

Abby was face to face with the killer, and all she could think about was that she wouldn't survive to tell the tale.

She opened the door and ran outside but the killer got up, stabbing her in the back again. She dropped to the ground, bleeding out, and the killer stabbed her one more time before they left, and she laid there rethinking her decisions.

When she woke up, July, Zack, and Damien were there waiting. She smiled at them, and they smiled back, "I've seen this hospital way too much," July said, hugging Abby, and she hugged her back. Abby then hugged Zack and Damien. "So about the attack, what did you see?" July asked, and Abby tried to remember the attack, "I don't remember much, but there was only one, I didn't see another," Abby said and the three looked at each other. "So what? There's only one killer this time around?" July asked, and they shrugged. "So far we've only seen one present at once in my attack, your attack, and Mia's attack," July said and Abby nodded, "so right now we can presume that there's only one," Abby said and July nodded.

Mia was paranoid about being alone, she had a feeling Maddie was the killer. She also knew Maddie hated her and she hated Maddie and that made her a target. She walked through the house about to grab her things and head to Nathan's house. She then heard her phone ring and she grabbed it to answer. "Hey," she said wondering who this was, "Hello Mia," the voice said and she sat on the couch. "Who is this?" Mia asked, "your worst nightmare," the voice said and then the line disconnected. Mia was extremely weirded out by this but then she grabbed her stuff. She opened the door to exit the house, but then the killer she saw earlier was there. Mia shut the door fast and locked it, she ran to the backdoor to escape from there.

She opened the door and the killer was there too and so she shut it and locked it. She ran upstairs to escape from her window, thinking that she would get away from there. She opened the window and got out, standing on the railing. She then looked down and it seemed that it would be a far jump but she could either attempt to get away this way or get killed by the person behind the mask. She took a deep breath and jumped landing on her leg causing her to yelp. She tried to stand up but her leg felt broken. She then dragged her leg and entered her car, she then locked the doors seeing the killer walk towards her.

With her good leg, she drove away but the killer wasn't going to give up. She felt like she drove far enough to take a break, she opened the drawers inside the car and grabbed a med kit. "Shit it's broken," she said looking at her leg. She wrapped a bandage around it to hold her off until she could make it to a hospital. She then heard something pop, like a tire, deflating. She tried to drive the car but she was going anywhere with her blown tire. She got out of the car and opened her trunk to get her extra tire and that's when she heard something move in the wind. She turned around and saw nothing so she brushed it off, she bent down to detach the blown tire.

She reattached the fixed tire when the killer came at her, but she dodged. The killer then had their knife stuck in the car, Mia then tried to run and call for help at the same time. She called Nathan, "I'm at Grayroad by 1229," she said to Nathan turning around to check if the killer was following her and they were. "Hurry," she said hanging up the phone. She continued to drag her leg trying to get away but she was at a disadvantage, the killer then tripped her and she yelped. "Please don't!" She yelled and the killer raised the knife above her and she closed her eyes. The killer then lowered the knife missing, Mia got up and dragged her leg while trying to run to buy time until Nathan came with July, Damien, and Zack. The killer then caught up to her thought stabbing her in the back and then the stomach. She fell to the ground and the killer got on top of her, she took off the mask and looked at the killer before they stabbed her in her heart multiple times.

July, Zack, Damien, and Nathan arrived on the scene but they were too late and they saw Mia there, dead. "Shit!" July yelled bending down to check the injuries. "She's dead," July said turning to look at the three and they nodded acknowledging the fact that they couldn't save another victim. With the four of them there that meant Abby was left unattended during the night and that was a mistake.
