"Well we are almost done with college, so maybe being together is a good thing, just in case they decide to randomly strike us again," Zoriana said and Cory agreed. "Me too, that's why I'm asking you, Zack and July are going back and it'll be better if we go with them when they do," Roman said while crossing his arms. "What about your reporter boyfriend?" Miles asked and Roman smiled. "I should've learned a long time ago that relationships aren't my thing, considering my last three boyfriends all died because of this, so maybe it's best if I stay single," he said and Miles nodded. "You three in?" Roman asked and the three nodded. "Great, I need to go break up with Grant now, wish me luck," he said as he left the dorm.
"Hey Grant," Roman said as he approached the News truck. "Hey," he said smiling. "I'm moving back to New York with July and Zack, to make sure that they're safe," Roman said and Grant nodded. "Oh okay, so what does that mean for us?" Grant asked and Roman shrugged. "I think we should break up, my past boyfriends haven't had much luck in the living department, even though you survived this time, there's a lower chance that you'll survive moving on, Tyler didn't," Roman said and Grant nodded. "I'm sorry, but I'm doing this to keep you safe, it's the least I can do," he said and Grant nodded. "When are you leaving?" Grant asked. "Tomorrow, I'm already packed and everything, the house is yours," he said and Grant nodded. "See you later at some point maybe," Roman said as he took out the keys from his pocket and went to the car.
"But why Lorianne and Marlin? They didn't seem like the two types that would kill someone, and they raised the stakes. Before we only had to think about the newcomers, but now, it could be anyone," Cory said and Zoriana nodded. "We need to keep an eye out on everyone, even Roman, I saw the look in his eye when he killed Malik, and when he killed Lorianne, Marlin, and their dad. Every single time he does kill one of these killers, it's becoming less and less of trying to save everyone and more and more of enjoyment," Zoriana said and Cory agreed. "Yeah, I've been noticing that too, but he's been in this department way longer than we have, maybe he's finally snapping," Cory said and Zoriana agreed. "In due time we will see, let's just keep an eye on him," Zoriana said and Cory nodded as Roman walked to them. "Hey you two, find Miles, I'm thinking we can order a pizza tonight and leave tomorrow, " Roman said and they nodded.
"All in a day's work huh," July said and Zack nodded. "This whole killer thing is starting to get old," Zack said and July agreed. "We've been running this game since high school, yet they still try us," July said and Zack smiled. "Exactly, that's what, fourteen different killers?" Zack asked and July nodded. "I think, they're pretty irrelevant either way," July said Zack agreed.
Roman opened his bag where his gun and knife were. He picked them both up and stood. "What the hell is wrong with me?" He asked himself as a familiar voice responded. "You know exactly what's wrong with you, you've tried to suppress these emotions for so long, but now it'd awakening inside of you," Don said and Roman turned. "This killer instinct has always been inside you, it just took a couple of kills to awaken it," Don said and Roman shook his head. "We both know that you enjoyed it, the smirk, your eyes, go ahead and deny it," Don said and Roman crossed his arms. "They deserved it, I wouldn't do that to someone innocent," Roman said and Don smirked. "But you're not denying that you enjoyed it, you're a born killer, don't worry about it, Mom didn't raise you any better," Don said and Roman placed the gun and knife back inside his bag and left.
