Run III- Lost Everything

With the kill count already being larger than in the past two massacres, the group needed to figure out what to do and how to do it, fast.

The killer shot the detective and began to stab her just to make sure she was dead. The killer then grabbed the evidence that she had to go destroy it.

"Okay I'm going now," Julian said and Roman smiled and nodded. Julian entered his car and he got a phone call. "Hello Julian," the voice said and he smiled. "I used to do the same shit, okay, this doesn't scare me," he said and the voice snickered. "The difference is, I have the balls to kill someone," the voice said, and he hung up the phone and tried to start his car. "Behind you," the killer said and he turned around to see the killer in the backseat. The killer had a piece of rope wrapped around his neck and began to choke him. He gasped for air and tried to scream but he couldn't, he then began to lose consciousness.

Roman went outside a couple of hours after Julian left. He then saw Julian in the car, his neck was sliced open and he had multiple stab wounds. Roman dropped all of his things in shock and looked at Julain for a couple of seconds before calling the police.

Ed arrived with July. "Where's detective Feldrin?" Ed asked one of the police guards and he shrugged. "I'll call her later, okay Romen right?" Ed asked and he nodded. "So you said you walked outside to go to the store and that's when you saw Julian dead in his car?" Ed asked and he nodded, "yeah," Roman said still a little shaken up. "Hey is everything okay?" Ed asked and he shook his head. "We need to find this killer before they kill anyone else," Roman said and Ed nodded.

"Okay so we know that the four of us aren't killers," July said to Roman, Ed, and Zack, the three nodded. "We need to stick together and then we can make sure that killer doesn't kill us," Roman said and July nodded. "We stick together all the time, at all costs. There's no 'I'll be right back' because only God knows if you will. I've survived this fucker twice, a third time shouldn't be too hard." July said and the rest agreed and so they stuck together.

Marlene was staying alone as Nathan went out to do something. She then heard her phone ring, and she was contemplating whether or not to answer it. She decided to answer it, "hello?" She said and the person responded. "Hello Marlene," they said sinisterly, and she rolled her eyes. "You again?" She asked nonchalantly. "Yes it's me again," the voice said and she smiled. "Okay, so can we get to the part where you attempt to kill me and I get away?" She asked and the line disconnected.

She then heard the door open and she ran upstairs quickly. She then hid in her closet, the killer walked up the stairs and she held her breath, she hoped that they wouldn't check right there. "Marlene, ready to go?" The killer asked walking into the room and she gulped. "I know you're in there, don't try and hide from me," the killer said and she was trying to stop the urge to say anything. The killer then stopped for a moment to listen, Marlene then held her breath and stopped moving and the killer waited for her to break but she didn't. The killer then left the room but she felt like they were still listening so she waited until she heard someone go down the stairs. She finally took a breath and smiled to herself, "Holy shit," she whispered to herself.

"Where's Roman and Zack?" July asked Ed and he looked up. "They went to the supermarket, they're together so don't worry. I need to go, I got a call about another attack," he said and Juky nodded. "I'm going with you," she said and he smiled, "okay," he said and they left together.

"Okay we grab what we need and we go," Zack said and Roman nodded. "We need antibiotics for July's stomach and hand and also bandages would be good. Also, get painkillers, she won't be able to contribute to defeating that asshole if she's hurt," Zack said and Roman nodded making a mental note of what Zack said. When he went to get the bandages, he could've sworn he saw something out of the corner of his eye.

He walked over to what he saw, knife in hand. "Hey little brother, been a while huh?" Don said and he exhaled. "Don't fucking scare me like that," he said and Don smiled. "Why did you try and kill everyone?" He asked and Don sighed. "July's the reason I got separated from you all those years ago, you never even had the chance to come out to me because of her. She ruined everything, and because of that I and Marlys relationship were distanced. It was like I was an only child, I lost both of my siblings because of her, she did this. I still wished I just waited till I was old enough to visit you, but I was blinded by rage." He said and Roman smiled and nodded. "You haven't been taking your meds," Don said and he nodded, "haven't been able to because of the killer," he said and Don nodded. "Well Zack is coming with the stuff, talk to you later," Don said and Roman turned around and smiled at Zack, they went back together.
