Run III- A New Era

July felt conflicted about the situation. She was happy she stuck it out to the end, but Lila killed Damien, one of her best friends. And if she just left and went alone, then so many of her friends wouldn't just die.

"Why'd you call us all here?" Roman asked and July exhaled and looked up. "I've made a decision that's best for the group," she said, and the group eyed her. "This is the third time someone had a grudge against me and wanted to kill me. This is also the third time my friends have died. I decided to go off the grid," she said and Marlene eyed her. "What? You can't do that July," Zack said and July looked up at him. "I've made up my mind," she said and Ed stood up. "Okay, that's just crazy!" He yelled and she looked down. "This is to keep everyone safe, if I move off to an area where no one can find me, then it makes the risk of people dying less likely," she said and Zack looked her in the eye. "If that's what you wish," he said and she smiled. "I'll miss you guys," she said and they smiled. "We will miss you too July," Marlene said and July smiled and picked up her bags. "Good because I wasn't taking no for an answer," she said and they smiled as she walked out the door. "See you all sometime in the future," she said then drove off and the four watched her leave.

"Okay guys, July's gone, that leaves us," Ed said and Zack crossed his arms. "Well, there goes the trio," Zack said and the three looked at him confusingly. "Sorry, me, July, and Damien were the only three who survived the first massacre, so we became a trio, but now they're both gone, looks like I'm flying solo," he said and the other three eyed him. "Hey, we exist too," Ed said and Zack smiled."Your right, you three are here now," he said and they smiled. "I'd like to see a killer try and spar with us," Ed said and Marlene chuckled. "Yeah would wipe the shit out of them, I mean we survived the worst killer yet, at least July said she was the worst killer ever," Marlene said and Zack nodded. "Yeah she was, she even almost succeeded," Zack said, and the four separated and went home, happy to have survived another massacre.
