Run 7: Bloody Massacre

"When do they get here again?" Lorianne asked and Roman checked the date. "Four more days, maybe five depending on if her job lets her," Roman said and Lorianne exhaled. "As much as we may want to play superman, it's a bad idea, look at our injuries now, we are in no condition to fight," Cory said and Lorianne exhaled. "We have nowhere to hide, nowhere to run, what the hell can we do?" Zorina asked and Roman shrugged. "I have no idea, this killer isn't afraid to strike no matter where we are, we can't do anything," Roman said and Zorina exhaled. "Realistically, we can't hide, we can't run, but we also can't fight, we ate powerless," Roman said, and the rest eyed him. "So, what are you saying?" Miles asked and he shrugged. "I'm saying that we won't be able to kill these serial killers alone, we need July and Zack, but they aren't here, so unless one of you has a master plan, we are lost," Roman said and Cory smiled and stood up. "We know that there are two killers, and both of these killers seem to be brutal and ruthless, not caring who they hurt in the process correct?" Cory said and they nodded. "We could lead these killers into a trap, and I know we tried this, but an actual trap. We could call the police and have them hide in a surrounding area. The six of us can then hide inside of this area where more than likely, the killer strikes," Cory said and they nodded. "Well, when do you all plan to do this? Considering that Marlin and I have things we need to do," Lorianne said and Cory exhaled. "Today," Cory said and Lorianne exhaled. "Fuck, can we just do it tomorrow?" Lorianne asked and Cory shook his head. "The sooner, the better, thus killer could strike the police station at any time to make it harder for us," Cory said and Lorianne nodded. "You four, stay safe, don't die," Marlin said and the four nodded as they split up. "Well, let's try it, what's the worse that can happen?" Miles asked and Cory smiled. "Usually when someone says that, bad shit happens," Cory said, Miles then grabbed the keys, and the four exited into their vehicle.

The four set up a plan with the police and hid out at the Market that was struck earlier. Miles' phone then began to ring and so he answered it. "Hello?" Miles said. "You four think you're smart hmm? Well, I'm always one step ahead of you, I'll always know what you're thinking, you will lose," the killer said over the phone. They then heard gunshots coming from outside, probably eliminating the police that were set up. The four then backed up slowly as they saw the door open. The killer kicked a policeman's dead body into the market before wiping their knife. "You can run all you want, but as I said, I'm always one step ahead of you," the killer said, raising the gun to shoot at where the four were hiding. "This was a bad idea," Cory whispered as Roman scanned for an escape route. "The emergency exit is too far, we need to hide behind those counters and crouch and walk over to the front exit while the killer follows, not seeing us get there, it's risky, but it'll work," Roman whispered and they nodded. "Okay, we are doing this," Zorina said as they began to walk slowly down the aisles as the killer circled.

Cory then stepped on a bag that was on the floor, making a noise. They all paused for a minute as the killer turned. "Funny how you think you can escape me," the killer said raising their gun and shooting toward where they heard the noise. The shots ended up hitting the counter next to them, leaving the four safe. They then continued to walk toward the front, and when they got close enough, they ran. The killer shot at them, all hitting Roman in his lower back. He winced and kept running. The four looked around at the scene, and every officer in sight was dead. Lorianne and Marlin then ran down the sidewalk. "We heard shots so we finished quickly, what the hell happened!" Lorianne said and Roman turned and looked at the market. "We need to wait," Roman said and they nodded.
