Josh walked into his house and placed his bag on the table. He sat down on the couch and brushed his hand through his hair. He exhaled and looked up as his phone began to ring.

"Ello'" he said as he answered it, rubbing his eyes. "Hello Josh, what are you doing tonight," a dark creepy voice said as Josh drew a questionable look. "Who the hell is this?" he asked seriously as the voice cackled. "You know, Zack died trying to play hero, don't make the same mistake," the killer said as he tilted his head questioningly. He then heard a baby cry from outside his door. "Don't play the hero," he said to himself as the baby's cries became louder and louder.

He backed up but his good conscience overcame him. He then found himself opening the door as he looked down, it was a toy. He shut and locked the door back quickly as his phone began to ring again.

"I've told you, don't play as the hero," the killer said as he looked around. "Stop playing these fucking games!" Josh yelled as the killer snickered. "My mother always told me not to play with my food, I was never a good listener," the killer said as Josh rolled his eyes. "Enough," he said as the killer stopped laughing. "Fine, I guess we can speed up the process," the killer said as Josh looked around again, "then come get me asshole," Josh said as he hung up the phone.

He threw his phone onto his couch and readied himself as his doorbell began to rattle. He ran upstairs into his room when he heard his door open. "This son of a bitch," he whispered to himself as he punched his window open. He grunted and picked up a shard of the glass to use as a weapon. He ripped off a piece of his shirt and tied it around the broken glass to stop himself from being cut with it. He then ripped off a piece of wood from his bed and turned to look at the door.

The killer then appeared at the front of the door. "Let's go, I'm ready to do this tango," he said as the killer charged forward and slashed in the air, Josh ducked and sidestepped the killer to trip them. He then stabbed the killer with the glass. "Take that bitch," he said as he shut the door back. He then ran downstairs straight into the other killer's knife, going straight into his stomach. "Dammit!" He yelled as he kicked the killer off of him. He took the knife out from his stomach. "Thanks for the weapon," he said as he dropped the wood. He then stabbed the killer with the knife in the upper chest. He heard someone behind him and ducked and spun to face the first killer. "I'm down here," he said as he pushed the first killer onto the second killer, knocking both of them down.

"You two armed killers can't kill one person with makeshift weapons? What kind of killers even are you?" Josh asked as they both stood up. One rushed toward him, but Josh moved out of the way as the other charged at him, pinning him against the wall, and causing him to drop his weapons. "This is more like it," he struggled to say as he kneed the killer in the stomach and grabbed their knife, stabbing the killer in the same spot. He then kicked the killer back and ducked as the other killer charged forward. He saw the best opportunity to escape through the front door.

He ran out the front door and closed it, he then ran to the front yard and took out his phone. "Hello, yeah, send police to 1978 Crawford Lane, hurry up," he said panicked as the first responder calmed him.

"Josh! Are you okay?" Roman asked as Josh exhaled. "Thank God you're here," Josh said as he hugged him. "How many were in there with you?" July asked as Josh thought about it. "Two, does it help that I stabbed one here and the other one here," he said as he pointed to different spots on his body. "Good fucking job, those are specific spots, easy to point out, come with us, we're going to check this shit out," July said as Josh nodded. The three then got back into July's car and left.
