Run: Legacy

Run II- Final Call

July went out with Zack, Damien, and Nathan to go investigate the scenes where everyone died, leaving Maddie alone.

She grabbed a bag of chips and went upstairs about to just watch a show when her phone began to ring. She picked up the phone thinking it was just spam but she wanted to go along with it. "Hey," she said and a weird voice she has never heard responded, "Hello Maddie," the voice said, and she looked outside the window. "Uhm hi? Do I know you from somewhere?" She asked and the voice chuckled. "Nope, you don't," the voice said and she began to feel scared. "Where are you?" She asked and the voice snickered. "I'm in your house Maddie," the voice said and she gasped. "Come outside the room Maddie," the voice said and then she got a notification, she checked it. It was a video of her closed door and it was about 10 seconds long.

She then opened the door prepared to hurt whoever was on the other side. She didn't see anyone though and closed the door and that's when the line disconnected. Another video was sent and it was of her opening the door then closing it back and then the person recording walked towards the door. When she finished the video the door began to bang and she turned looking for something to defend herself with.

When the killer opened the door, Maddie immediately hit them with the glass plate that she had. She then ran past them and ran down the stairs. She grabbed a knife to protect herself, for when the killer eventually caught up to her. She took the keys from off the counter and unlocked the door and looked behind her and she saw the shadow of the killer walking down the stairs.

She entered her car and started it and she saw the killer leave the house, she was about to drive away but forgot to lock the doors and the killer grabbed her arm. She then tried to reach for her knife but it was too far and so she bit the killer on the arm causing them to let go. She then kicked the killer out of the car and closed the door, this time she locked it. She then tried to drive away but her fuel was too low for her to get far. She looked at the killer on the ground and maybe she could drive far enough and then run away.

She made a pretty big distance before her gas ran out, she left her phone and everything else but the knife in the car and ran as fast as she could. She hid in the forest thinking she was out of danger. She calmed herself until she heard a stick break and so she readied herself once again. She took a peak and it was the killer from before, she exhaled quietly wanting all of this to be over. She then tried to run away quickly but the killer saw her and ran after her.

She ran and took hasty turns to try and lose the killer. The killer always seemed to know where she was going, taking all of the same turns until they eventually caught up. The killer then grabbed her and sliced her neck open and made sure to finish the job by repeatedly stabbing her in the stomach. She fell grasping her wounds then the killer turned her around stabbing her repeatedly to make sure she was dead.

The police were already on the scene and July, Zack, Damien, and Nathan showed up, they wanted to observe the damage. They saw Maddie being carried away in a body bag and July turned to the three. "Who the hell is this killer? And we need to find out fast before more people die," July said and they nodded and left the scene. The four had no clue who the killer could be and their only suspect turned out to be a victim.

They sat in Zacks's room thinking about who the killer could be and no one had any ideas. They couldn't think of anyone that would have beef with them as the people who did have beef with them were dead, and the people that had beef with each other were also dead. There were no hints or clues that could lead them in any direction, they were lost.
