Run: Legacy

Run II- Act III

With Abby, Mia, Samara, Maddie, and Riley dead, it was now time for the next act, Act III.

"So they strike today, I'll stay here by myself chances are they'll strike whoever's alone. I can't fight I have before and I always will, you three stay together." July said to Zack, Damien, and Nathan, and they nodded. The three then left the house, and July armed herself ready to put up a fight. Thanks to Zack, she knew exactly when they'd strike.

She waited for when they'd strike, and the phone began to ring. She then answered it, and just like she predicted, it was that voice. "Hello, July," the voice said, and she smirked, "Hello masked killer, what do you want?" July asked, and the killer snickered, "I want to kill you," the voice said, and she rolled her eyes. "You won't be able to, I'm smarter," she said, and the voice exhaled, "but I'm stronger," the voice said. She then rolled her eyes, "last time you attacked me, I beat your ass. You had to run away," July said, and the voice snickered. "Not this time," the voice said, and then the line disconnected.

She then heard a crash and she turned around in the direction she heard it, she then heard someone coming up the stairs. She then grabbed the knife and the broken glass bottle and turned around, ready to fight the killer off. The door then rattled, and she readied herself. Then the killer kicked the door open, and she stared at them. "I'll never understand why you try to go and kill everybody. It'll never fucking end right for the dumbass behind the mask," she said, pointing the knife in the direction of the killer. The killer then jumped at her and she dodged causing the killer t hit the wall. She then ran down the stairs but she had no plan of escaping, she was going to end whoever killed her friends.

The killer followed her down the stairs and she tried to stab him but she missed and the killer tripped her and got on top of her. "Welcome to Act 3," the killer said unmasking himself to reveal Leo was behind the mask. "Oh my god, Leo?!" July asked and he smiled. "Unsuspecting right? July you killed my goddamn cousin! Zoe was my best friend and I loved her and you ruthlessly kill her?! Well now, you're going to pay the price!" He said raising the knife and July kicked him off of her. July then ran back up the stairs not wanting to hurt Leo but it had to be done.

Julian got back from his call and Roman needed to find out why he was calling people all the time. "What's with all the calls?" Roman asked and Julian eyed him, "uhm Leo," he said, and Roman shook his head. "No, it's not," Roman said and Julian gave him his phone but Roman wasn't going to buy it. "I don't believe you," Roman said and Julian shrugged, "you don't have to," he said leaving the room but he also left his phone with Roman. Roman unlocked it and decided to call the number and July answered. "Listen here asshole! I'm not playing these games with you Leo! And you won't kill anyone else!" July yelled into the phone and Roman was confused. "Woah this isn't Leo, uhm what's wrong?" He asked and July sighed, "your friend is a psycho!" She yelled and then she hung up the phone and Roman went to confront Julian. "So what, you're calling July? And why did she think you were Leo and what does she mean by he's a psycho?!" He asked and Julian put down his cup, "you weren't supposed to find out," he said and Roman looked shocked.

July ran throughout the house creating obstacles for Leo. She knew that Leo was the only family Damien still had left that he talked to. She didn't want to have to kill Leo but chances are that it'd come down to it. "Back the fuck up Leo! If you want to live I suggest you just walk the hell away!" She yelled and he continued to walk towards her and it was either her or him. She then punched Leo in the face and then ran into the room and Leo followed her. He then ran toward her but missed breaking the glass and falling into the patio. July put both of her hands on his neck and he was hanging off the railing. "This is for Riley," she said then lunching him, "this is for Samara," she said then punching him again, "this is for Mia," she said punching him again, "this is for Maddie," she said punching him again and he seemed hurt. "And this is for Abby," she said pushing him over the patio and causing him to fall when he did, he fell onto the concrete and his head hit it directly. He then gasped before dying due to his injury.

Julian sighed going outside to his car and Roman followed him. He opened his trunk to reveal a fresh Ghostface costume. "I've never worn the costume before, I didn't want to kill anyone," Julian said, and Roman stared at the costume. "I've only made the calls, and I even regret that but I wasn't directly responsible," Julian said, and Roman looked at him, "did you ever love me?" Roman asked, and Julian nodded furiously, "I've always loved you, and I always will, but he blackmailed me and I had to help him. But believe me, I do love you," he said, and Roman shook his head and walked back into the house, leaving Julian there, Roman felt betrayed.

July waited for her friends and police to arrive. She then hugged Damien and Zack in a three-way hug. They then sat inside the ambulance with a blanket over the three and then Juky saw Roman show up and run over to Leo who was dead. She got up and walked to him, "hey," she said and he turned, "you were Don's brother right? I remember you before your parents split," she said and he nodded. July then hugged him, "you'll be okay in time," she said and he cried while hugging her. Julian showed up and walked over to Roman and July smiled before walking back to her friends.

"Hey," he said, and Roman rolled his eyes and looked back at Leo's lifeless body. "I'm sorry," Julian said and Roman turned, "sorry isn't going to make me trust you again," he said before he walked away and Julian exhaled. Nathan then walked up to the three and hugged each. "So will I be okay?" Nathan asked, and July smiled, "In time," she said, and he smiled back, sitting next to them.
