Run IX: Third Time

"I have to go," Grayson said as Leilani shook her head. "I can't be in here alone," she said as Grayson turned. "Im sorry, but my dad needs me," Grayson said as Leilani exhaled. "If I die in here, I'm blaming you," she said jokingly as Grayson chuckled. "There's staff here. You'll be fine," Grayson said as Leilani nodded, Grayson then leaving.

Leilani sat on the hospital bed, and then she looked around when her phone began to ring. "Hello?" She asked when she answered it. "Hello Leilani," the killer said as Leilani looked around. "I know your little secret," the killer said as she froze. "And what's that?" She asked as the killer snickered. "Your relation to a certain killer," the killer said as she started to shake. "How the hell do you know that?" Leilani asked as the killer snickered. "I know a lot about you that you would never expect, I suggest you tell the group before I do," the killer said as she tilted her head. "If you do that, then I'll know who you are," Leilani said as the killer exhaled. "I'm not that fucking stupid, it's called an anonymous message," the killer said as she rolled her eyes. "That part about my life is irrelevant, so fuck you," Leilani said as the killer chuckled. "I'm not the one to let someone talk to me in such a manner, so watch your back," the killer said as she hung up the phone.

She then struggled to stand up where she called Grayson, but it was to no avail. "No," she said as she tried to call him again, and once again, he didn't answer. She then heard three gunshots, causing her to drop her phone. She then also heard footsteps getting closer and closer. "Back the fuck up!" She yelled ad the killer arrived at the door. "I'm getting a sense of deja vu," the killer said snarkingly. The killer then raised their gun at Leilani. "Have fun with your dead brother," the killer said when they were struck in the head by a bat by July. "Come on, you can't stay here," July said as they pushed the killer down the hall. Roman, who was beside her, then helped Leilani put the room. The three then walked slowly over to the elevator. "Ah ah ah, not so fast," the killer said as they shot Leilani in her lower back. She then almost dropped to the floor, but July kept her up. "Fuck the legacy characters, always gettung in the way," the killer said as they fired three more shots at Leilani, but Roman got in front of her, causing him to be shot instead. They then made it to the elevator where they left.

"This killer must have a personal vendetta against you," July said as Leilani nodded. "Yeah, I'm starting to realize that too. Did you two know my brother?" Leilani asked as the two looked at her. "Depends, who's your brother?" July asked as Leilani exhaled. "His name was Leo. He was the third killer," Leilani said as Roman smiled. "Yeah, we knew Leo, he was my best friend, my supposed boyfriend at the time was his accomplice," Roman said as July eyed him. "Julian was so sweet, I miss him," July said as she looked forward. "How many people have yall lost anyway?" Leilani asked as Roman looked down. "Way too many, most of them not deserving it at all, I can't even date anyone anymore without the fear that I'll drag them into this mess," Roman said as July looked at the two. "Let me see your shot wounds so I can tell how bad they are," July said as they obeyed. "Great, shouldn't have hit any major areas. And I don't think we can trust hospitals either, Mitch will know how to deal with this," July said as Roman nodded. "How long have you two had to deal with this?" Leilani asked as they both turned to look at her. "Since we were 16," July said as Leilani looked at her. "And how old are yall now?" She asked as July smirked. "Roman is 3 years younger than me, I'm 42 now," July said as Roman's eyes widened. "It has not been that long," Roman said in disbelief as July shrugged. "You look no older than 30, and you look like 20," Leilani said as July smiled. "You should see me in the mornings," July said as the elevator stopped. "Police should already be here. In other words, we're safe," July said as the three left the elevator.

"Holy hell, are yall okay?" Mitch said as he looked at Leilani. "Oh, don't worry about me, this is all from like the past three days," Leilani said as Mitch tilted his head. "Well shit," Mitch said as Leilani looked at July and Roman. "Thank you both so much," she said as they smiled. "Of course," Roman said as July turned to look at Mitch. "Can you check out their wounds for me?" July asked as Mitch nodded. "Of course, you two just come with me, I have all my stuff at my house." Mitch said as the two followed. July then got in her car and drove back to her house.
