Pyra POV
I looked down at the necklace Kai gave me, its soft blue glow illuminating a little of the area around me.
Pyra: Thank you Kai, this way I always have you with me.
Mythra: How are we going to work this?
That was a little confusing, and unexpected.
Pyra: What do you mean?
Mythra: The necklace, he gave it to you, not me, so what do I do with it when I’m in control?
Pyra: It’s an ether crystal, so it should disappear like the other crystals I wear.
She seemed assured by that.
Pyra: Why? Don’t you like it?
Mythra was silent, likely because she did, but because of the way she is, did not want to admit it.
Kai: You guys ready for this? They’re right around the corner.
Nia peeked around the cave wall for a split second
Nia: So what's the plan? Looks like there's quite a few of 'em, and they have Blades too.
Rex: No time for complicated plans. Don't worry... they'll be no match for us!
Kai shook his head.
Pyra: Rex…
Nia: I knew you'd say that. But hey, I'm not saying you're wrong!
Rex: Just remember, we're not here to kill anyone, so mind you don't go overboard.
Tora: Was Rex-Rex not going to avenge village?
Rex: There's more than one way to do that, right?
Nia: Well, if you say so.
Pyra: Understood.
Kai: Let’s kick some ass.
Rex: Right. Let's go!
We charged in
Rex: All of you put down your weapons! You're not going to harm that city!
Bandit: Who the hell are you punks? We ain't got time for a bunch of kids!
Other Bandit: Hold it! They're Drivers and Blades! Now I get it... The city hired you, huh?!
Rex: What d'you think?
Other Bandit: Bah! How'd you find out about… Whatever. Hey, lads! Let's slaughter these brats! We'll make an example of 'em!
Bandit/Other Other Bandit: Yeah!
I looked at Rex, he seemed determined, he didn’t plan on losing.
Pyra: I hope we’re ready, we may win these battles, but what about the battles ahead.
I touched the necklace, and Kai looked at me, his piercing blue eyes meeting mine.
Pyra: Kai…
Mythra: You are such a lovesick puppy.
Pyra: Like you were for Addam?
Mythra once again was silent, I think Kai’s sarcastic, light-hearted, demeanor is rubbing off on me, there’s no way I would have retorted if I hadn’t met him.
Kai: Let's go!
The conflict ensued, and I was brought back to reality by a bandit sneaking up on Rex.
