Kai POV

We snuck our way around the guards at the dock until we reached the root that would take us to the back door. The problem was, the root was at least thirty feet below said door.

Rex: Looks pretty high. Gimme a moment.

Rex shot his grappling hook up to the ledge, then called down.

Rex: Pyra, you first. I'll pull you up, so hold tight.

Pyra stepped onto the hook Rex lowered, and then Rex tried hid damndest to pull her up. It didn't work.

Rex: Gh... So...heavy!

Gramps and I face palmed, and Pyra stepped off the hook in surprise.

Pyra: Wh-what did you say?!

When Pyra stepped off, he fell backwards on his ass.

Rex: Yow...

Azurda: Now look here, Rex. You can't just go and call a lady heavy.

Tora: Ooh, Rex-Rex a little tactless...

Kai: *quietly* More than a little my puffy friend.

Pyra: Sorry about that, I guess I was just surprised

Kai: *quietly* Bet I could lift you no problem, no way you're heavy. Rex could use some manners, but he did try to deadlift you using a cord from thirty feet in the air.

Rex: No no, it's not your fault, I-

Tora: She heavier than Tora for sure! But that just mean Pyra grown to impressive height! It is good thing! Pyra should be proud!

Poppi flew up to where Rex was.

Poppi: Poppi pull Pyra up. Please grab again.

Pyra held on to the cord again, this time Poppi helped Rex pull Pyra up.

Rex: Niiiice, Poppi.

Poppi: Poppi artificial Blade. This is...noooo problem. Poppi could lift Gonzalez if necessary.

Kai: Who the fuck is Gonzalez?

We wandered through the warship for a bit, before Poppi spoke.

Poppi: Masterpon, Poppi can feel there is a Blade in the vicinity.

Kai: So she senses ether signatures? What kind of sensors were built for her? Isn't ether sensing normally an Art? But she does it passively for some reason...

Tora: But how can Poppi tell that?

Poppi: Unclear. Poppi feel other Blade like wave in air.

Rex: Huh. I'm not sure I get it, but... maybe Dromarch is nearby!

Pyra: Let's try opening up some of these doors!

By 'open', Pyra meant 'blast' because she blew holes in several doors, then at the last one the power output increased dramatically for some reason.

Dromarch: *grunt*

Pyra: Umm...I didn't hurt anyone, did I?

Rex: Everyone check your eyebrows!

Kai: *snickers*

Pyra: I'm sorry! It's hard to judge the power sometimes...

Dromarch: Pyra! Rex!

Azurda: Dromarch! It's good to see you alive.

Tora: It very good!

Poppi: See, Masterpon? There was a Blade here.

Dromarch: Master Titan and... Forgive me, but who are they?

Kai: *quietly* Poofball and Loli Bot

Pyra *giggles*

Rex: Dromarch, we don't have much time. Do you know where Nia is?

Kai: Isn't that a dumb question to ask a Blade? I mean, wouldn't they always know where their Driver is?

Dromarch: But of course. We are in resonance after all. I feel her presence.

Rex: Then let's go! We can't let her get executed!

Kai: I feel like this is too lax on guards to be for prisoners planned for execution. Wouldn't people be trying to break out loved ones or some shit? This is way too easy.

Dromarch: Indeed. This way!

We ran through the corridors, coming to a door with actual guards.

Dromarch: No doubt about it, that's the place!

Ardainian Sergeant: Who are you people!?

Ardainian Soldier: They're the terrorist's friends!"

Kai: Only two? This has trap written all over it.

Rex: We are her friends! But I won't let you call her a terrorist!

They prepared for battle, I left my sword sheathed, they should have no problems with these two. Rex struck first, charging in with an overhead blow, knocking the sergeant back, but the low ranker retaliated with a quick shot at Rex, blocked by Pyra with a Blade Sheild. Tora and Poppi went for the low ranker, and managed to knock him unconscious with a flurry of moves. Then Dromarch struck a knockout blow on the sergeant with a quick Art.

Kai: That was fast, but a Sergeant and a low ranker? It's like they want us to get Nia and Dromarch... oh no...

Pyra blew open the door again, revealing Nia, who panicked.

Nia: Ahh! Jin?

Kai: Wrong group Nia

Rex: You all right, Nia?!

Nia: Rex, you...

Dromarch: My lady. Apologies for my late arrival.

Nia: Don't mention it. I didn't think anyone was coming at all.

Rex: As if we'd leave you!

Nia: Well, that's you all over, ain't it.

Kai: It's like a cult, he follows the customs without question...

Tora: Rex-Rex! Tora has found escape route! Hurry hurry!

Nia: A Nopon?

Dromarch: He has been of some assistance.

Rex: We made a new friend!

Nia: Uh, nice to meet ya.

Azurda: Well, I think we've overstayed our welcome here. Time to get moving!

Kai: Understatement of the year Gramps, because alarms are going off now!

Cool. So this is a chapter, I have been up since 1 in the morning, I went to bed at 11. I am dead tired and I have orientation today. How fucking lucky am I. So hope you enjoyed, if I made a mistake let me know, I'm gonna pass out now...
