Apologies

Kai's POV:

Shit! Shit! Shit! Ok Kai, just act cool like nothing ever happened.

I smile at everyone in the living room and shrug my shoulders in a cute way, "Oops." My hyungs and Madison all bursted out laughing. Her laugh.. it was kinda adorable. You started to pick up all the cups you had knocked over, unfortunately some were made of glass and had broken. God damn it.

I saw two other hands reaching for the cups and putting them back on the counter as I picked up the glass pieces first. I looked up at Madison staring down at me with a worried look. I kept staring at her as her eyes grew more.

"Uh Kai. Doesn't that hurt?" Does what hurt? I finally snapped out of her spell and looked down at my cut up hand.

"God Damn It!" I stood up fast the pain now registering in my brain. Before I could move, Madison pushed towards the sink turning the water on. The water was a nice warm temperature. I looked down at my hands at first watching as her hands operated on mine. Then I looked up at her concentrated face. I couldn't help but stare. I was so close to her... her and her small, light pink lips. If I leaned over just a bit...

Maddi's POV:

As soon as I saw Kai cut his hands from picking up the broken glass I froze. Why was he staring at me? His hands kept picking up more glass as he stared at me.

"Uh Kai. Doesn't that hurt?" I watched him as looked at his hand and jumped up with a "freaked out" look.

"God Damn It!" He was frozen there, so instead of letting him bleed all over the kitchen some more, I pushed him towards the sink turning on the water. I focused on getting all the pieces of glass out of his skin. I think I got them all out.

I turned slightly and found Kai staring at me again. Did I have something on my face? He was looking at my lips. My eyes widen. No, he couldn't be thinking that. Maddi you are way over your head.

"Madison.." You interrupted him for a second.

"Please, call me Maddi. I hate Madison."

"Of course. Maddi, I am sorry about yelling earlier." I noticed he was slowly leaning in as we continued to talk. "You are very pretty by the way." You blushed as you could feel his closeness.

"Thank you." Should you move? But it was Kai! If he wanted to kiss you, you were not going to protest. I want to kiss him so bad. Just a little closer....

I heard a cough and suddenly my cheeks burned a pink color. Kai, who was a tad angry, looked over at who coughed. I studied him for a second then looked over at all the Exo-K members watching us. I stepped back from Kai remembering how close we were.

"Uh, I'm a bit tired from the flight. I'll be in my room unpacking some of my stuff then sleeping. Goodnight!" I fast walked to my room and close to door behind me. Oh Kai... why?..
