A Day With Kai

Maddi’s POV:

I decided, when I woke up from one hell of a dream –blushes- hehe, that I needed to go shopping. I needed something presentable for my date with Kai and I also needed a disguise for when people start to notice me more. Thing was, I didn’t know my way around Seoul! I got up from my bed and stretched my still sleeping limbs. I decided to take a shower before I bothered any of the boys to show me around.

After I was done cleansing myself, I dried my body and put on some blue jeans and a white tank top with a green one on top. I blow-dried my hair and then straightened it. When I thought I looked good enough, I exited my room and went to the kitchen for a healthy breakfast. I grabbed an apple and went to the living room. Chanyeol, D.O., and Sehun were watching the news while Kai was sitting with a notebook in his hands writing. I went over to him and leaned over the couch.

“What you writing?” He shrugged, not even looking up at me.

“Lyrics to a new song that has to have girl parts now in it. I tried to make the song sound universal, but it was too difficult, so you’ll probably have a couple solos.” He laughed. “Did you need something?”

“I just wanted to go shopping for some things, but I don’t know my way around. I was wondering if you could show me.” He finally looked up at me. “But if you are too busy, I can just ask one of the other guys.” I saw Sehun go to open his mouth, but before he could say anything Kai jumped up yelling no. We all just stared at him as he tried to compose himself.

“I mean… I was going to take a break anyways. I would be glad to show you around, but only to the places that you need right now, because we don’t have time to go everywhere in Seoul. Let me just get my shoes and coat.” I nodded and finished eating my apple as I walked back to the kitchen. When I finished it, I threw it away and headed back to my room to grab my shoes and coat. As I walked back to the door I saw Kai leaning on it waiting for me.

“I’m ready for my little tour.” He smiled and took my hand while walking out the door. I noticed he had put on a hat and was wearing sunglasses as I followed him holding his hand gently out the door. Was holding hands what normal boyfriends and girlfriends do? I hope so. It is adorable!

We walked a couple blocks away from our room when we reached this cute little coffee shop. Next to that was a clothing store. I used my free hand to poke Kai’s shoulder to get his attention.

“Is this a good place to shop?” He looked over at the store and nodded.

“Ne. Do you want to go in and look around?” I smiled up at him.

“Ne. Let’s go!” I giggled at my first Korean word spoken towards Kai. We walked into the store and were greeted instantly by a teen about my age.

“Hello. My name is Jin Ae. What can I help you guys with?” She was really pretty and had a cute smile.

“We are just looking around.” Kai answered her question before I had a chance.

“Well, let me know if you need something ok?” We both nodded. Thank God the girl didn’t notice Kai’s identity. I let go of Kai’s hand as I went over and looked at the girl’s clothes as he browsed clothes on the boy side. It took me forever, but I finally found the perfect outfit. I looked at the price and it was in my price range. I scanned the room and noticed Kai wasn’t insight. I shrugged and walked up to Jin Ae.

“Excuse me, but I am ready to buy this.” She turned and smiled at me.

“Well of course. If you would just follow me this way.” I nodded and followed her to the checkout counter. She scanned my outfit.
