Is It Love?

Kai's POV:

I sat there staring at Maddi for a couple seconds before I smiled. I hadn't even noticed that the music had stopped and the other members were watching us.

"Hey Kai and Maddi. We need to get moving. We are suppose to be at the record studio in five minutes. So come on." Sehun called at us while him and the others grabbed their things and walked our the door. I stood up and grabbed my bag with some deodarant and body spray. I put some on and headed towards the door. Maddi had been following me not saying a word. I held the door open for her and turned the lights off.

Even through the dark I could see the blush on her cheeks. I smiled feeling proud of myself. Who knew I'd like our new member so much. Maybe more than like?.. I don't really know her that much, but did that matter? She made my heart race with a simple smile.

We headed to the room where we would rehearse for our new song. It was called, "Your Love Is A Lie." We all finally get to hear what Maddi sounds like. We never got shown the video of her singing that she sent for the contest. Her voice must be good to have won.

I opened the door for her and smiled as the blush that had faded as we walked to the room returned. There was a circle of chairs in the center of the room with stands holding sheet music. I wanted to sit by Maddi, but the only two chairs open were across from each other. I sat in between Suho and D.O. as Maddi sat across from me between Sehun and Baekhyun. I guess it's ok, at least now I don't have to peer at her from the corner of my eye.

"So Maddi, do you want to give us a little demostration on how well you can sing? You can pick any song." Sehun asked politely.

"Uh sure. Well, this song is a Korean song from one of my favorite Kpop bands. It's called 'Fantastic Baby.' by Big Bang." Maddi cleared her throat and hummed the beginning tune before she started. She sang with her hands in her lap and looking anywhere but at us. She seemed very nervous. "Ne simjangsorie matge ttwigi sijakhae magi kkeutnal ttaekkaji ye. I can't baby don't stop this oneureun tarakhae michyeo barakhae ganeungeoya. Wow fantastic baby. Dance i wanna dan dan dan dan dance fantastic baby. Dance i wanna dan dan dan dan dance wow fantastic baby."

I half expected her to sing TOP's next part of the song, but she didn't. We all clapped for her after she finished. She was an amazing singer. I looked at her the whole time and I still couldn't remove my eyes from her. She looked up locking eyes with me and smiled when she saw me smiling at her. God she was pretty. Am I falling in love?

Maddi's POV:

After rehearsal, Exo-K didn't have any other things scheduled. I guess their manager wanted me to learn the new song and dance a little better before he revealed me as the new member. Which is fine with me. The life of a singer was exhausting and it's only been one day!

When we got back to the dorm, I decided to make me something to eat.

"Does anyone want something to eat?" I heard many "I Do's" and one excited "Me!" from Baekhyun. Ha. He is such a hypered wierdo. I started to make a simple dish, noodles. I didn't know how much to make, but I made a ton. I was feeding six boys.

Kai came in to help me, but I told him I didn't need it since I was only making noodles. So he decided to make something to go with it, taco's. I know right? It was a weird combination, but it's what he said sounded good.

He stood next to me cooking the ground beef. Our shoulders would bump each other every once in a while, which sent butterflies soaring in my stomach. Kai was so.. sexy, helpful, a gentleman, and everything I wanted.

After our "late lunch" was done, we called for the others to come and get some. We sat and ate in comfortable silence for about 5 minutes, but that's when Baekhyun started tossing little pieces of meat at D.O. Now I'm not sure if D.O didn't say anything because he was too quiet too or because he enjoyed it. I was starting to feel like I was the only one who was noticing this, until Sehun smacked Baekhyun's shoulder.

I couldn't help but laugh at Baekhyun's facial expression. It was a mixture of happiness and hurt. He was happy to get away with tossing food for as long as he did, but hurt from being slapped. After I started laughing, so did everyone else. I contained myself in a few minutes and began eating again.

I stood up when I was finished and started to wash the dishes. Kai stood up when he was finished too and helped me. I tried to refuse his help but he wouldn't take it. It felt nice to spend this much time with him. He gave me butterflies, made me blush all the time, and was super sweet. Am.. am I falling in love?
