Crazed Ex

Maddi’s POV:

I honestly didn’t know how to take in the “secrets” Kai had shared with me yesterday, but I was a very open-minded person. What happened was a long time ago and it wasn’t entirely his fault. Who gives a ten year old a gun?! I laid in bed trying to sleep, but for some reason couldn’t. I thought of this Brittany girl and why she would do anything to harm someone as sweet as Kai. I mean seriously?

I woke up around 5 o’clock the next day not feeling the best. I ran into the bathroom and I threw up what felt like a lung. I got up, flushed, and brushed my teeth. I couldn’t be sick, because I had a lot of work to do to catch up with the other hyungs. I decided to take a shower to help me feel better.

As I finished up my shower, got dressed, and headed to the kitchen for something to eat, I felt a pain in my stomach. I ran back to the bathroom and threw up some more. I groaned. Why does this have to happen now?

“Maddi… Are you ok?” Baekhyun asked knocking on my bathroom door.

“I am fine. I will be out in a minute.” I hollered trying to calm my stomach.

“Ok… If you say so…” I could tell he felt a bit worried, but I heard his footsteps leave. I sighed and flushed. I brushed my teeth again before making my way back to the kitchen. All the members were sitting at the table.

“Maddi… you look a little pale. Are you ok?” Kai asked when I stepped into the kitchen. All heads turned towards me.

“I am fine. Just a bit tired, because I couldn’t sleep.” It wasn’t a complete lie, since I couldn’t sleep. I gave them a small smile, but I don’t think Suho was buying it. He stood up and walked over to me, placing his hand on my forehead.

“Maddi, you are burning up. Why don’t you stay home today?” I was about to protest when I felt a familiar feeling in my throat. I ran over to the trash can and threw up. I groaned and went to the sink to wash my face and hands. When I look back at the guys, they all wore worried expressions. “Maddi you are staying home.”

I was going to argue when I remembered he was the leader and I had to listen to him. I nodded my head and grabbed a glass of water before heading back to my room. I changed into comfier clothes and got into bed. I don’t understand why I was sick now, because I barely get sick ever. Oh well, maybe some sleep will help me.

Kai’s POV:

I bit my lip as I watched Maddi go back to her room. I hope she was ok. I cleaned up the breakfast I had been eating and headed down the hall towards her room. I was passing my room when I saw a figure sitting on my bed. My eyes grew as I walked into my room to see Brittany. I closed my door so the others wouldn’t see her. I turned to her and glared.
