One month (Arizona)

I sit down next to Lexie, sighing loudly and putting my legs over Alex. 'It's been ages.' I say. 'Ages since what?' Alex says, shoving peanuts from Aprils snack drawer in his mouth. 'Since I had sex with Arizona.' Jackson chokes on his water. 'Excuse me, what? You two are like rabbits. Nobody can sleep.' I scoff. 'That's Alex and his nurses. We barely stay here. And when we stay at hers Mark always barges in with Sofia, saying there's something wrong. It has been a month.' Lexie laughs. 'A month? Oh god, Y/n you're dead.' I nudge her. 'It's been longer for April, what like, 30 years?' Alex bursts out laughing and April throws a book at me. 'Hey, hey.' Lexie hits me. 'Maybe just get her alone, lock your doors, and kiss her. If that doesn't work you did something wrong.' I think about it, then nod. 'Alright fine. It can't go as bad as you and Mark.' She grabs the book that April threw at me and hits me on the head with it.

'Hey!' Arizona sits on the couch next to me. We're at home and I have a plan in my head. 'Did you lock the door?' I ask. 'No, why?' I stand up and lock it. 'Because I have a movie for us and I don't want Mark interrupting.' I'm not lying. I found an Ellis Grey tape that I stole from Meredith two years ago. She's doing a kidney transplant on a 5 year old. I sit down near to Arizona and put my arm around her. She smiles but doesn't move anywhere closer. Ellis finished stitching the child up and Arizona turns off the TV. She kisses my head. 'Goodnight.' I try to hide my disappointment, but she notices my frown. 'What's wrong, are you okay?' She sits down on the arm of the chair next to me and pushes my hair away from my neck. She thinks Im sick, she knows i don't like my hair touching me when Im sick. 'Oh god. Oh, Arizona, I'm not sick, I miss you.' I say. 'I'm right here, okay?' She kisses my head. 'It's been a month.' I say. 'A month since what?' She asks. 'Since we had sex!' I burst out. She laughs. 'It worked!' I thank Lexie. 'I mean it didn't work but also it worked. I had sex so it worked but the kiss didn't. It half worked.' Arizona comes over to me and pulls me into her. 'Hi.' She kisses me. 'Ugh, get a room.' I stick my tongue out at Lexie. 'Hi.' I kiss Arizona back and she cups my face. 'I love you.' She kisses my head. 'I have a surgery.' She says goodbye and wheels away.
