𝙀𝙇𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉 - 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨

"arisu. . ." you gasped.
it seemed screaming in such a loud room was able to catch his attention, and he turned his head. his eyes grew wide and he rushed over, pushing through the crowd.

"y/n!" he screamed.

as you waited, in the back behind you ... you overheard chishiya and kuina's conversation.
"he'll be useful for our plan." he points out.
"and y/n? you haven't mentioned putting her in. i assumed you would." kuina questioned.
"i'm not sure yet. with how i have it set up, i'm not sure if i want to put her in the plan." chishiya said.

"she can stay with me," kuina suggested.
"i'll think about it." chishiya shrugged.

the conversation fades as you grow lost in thought, those few words spoken giving you more unanswered questions. how did mira know he was planning something to begin with?
there's intense tapping on your shoulder.

shooting out of your thoughts, arisu stands infront of you. he's smiling so brightly it's like ... as bright as the sun.

"i thought you died." you answered honestly.
"no, no.. something just.. happened." you saw arisu's face grow sad when he brought it up.

blinking, you looked around for karube and chota. realizing they weren't here with arisu, and seeing arisu so down when he spoke made your other suspicious turn into answers. "they died.. in that game, right?" you asked.

arisu nods, a frown casted upon his face.
you pull him into a hug, and he hugs you back tightly. reassuring him and yourself, you speak. "it'll be fine. we can make it through."

a woman's voice rings through the room. "arisu, who is this?"

he breaks from the hug. "oh, usagi. this is y/n."
you glanced over, giving a friendly smile. "hello. it's a pleasure to meeting you."

your eyes glitter. "oh! you're that climber from the game of tag!" you grinned.
usagi smiles softly, nodding. you can tell she's feeling awkward.

"did you come here alone?" usagi asked.
contemplating an answer, you were unsure if you should lie or be truthful. you didn't know how they both felt about chishiya.

exhaling, you decided to go with the truth. lying would ruin the moment. "no. i came with someone else."

arisu raises his eyebrows. "found someone special?" he teased, placing a hand on your shoulder. "i should be asking you that!" you laugh lightly.

usagi looks embarrassed. "oh, no, no. we're just friends." she shakes her hands.
you giggle. "okay, i believe you."

"anyway, no. i didn't find anyone special. they were just someone i came here with."

arisu ruffles your hair and pulls you into another hug. "it's nice to see you again. i'm so grateful you're still alive. i was worried since the end of the game i'd never see you again." arisu said.

there are a pair of eyes that have been watching you with an unpleasant look this whole time. you haven't turned back to see, but you can tell someone's staring.

"well, we're here now.." you grinned.
you rubbed your eyes, still drowsy. you'd realize you've been lacking on sleep, the most you'd get 3-4 hours or less.

arisu noticed your shift in emotion, and leaned down. "have you been sleeping?" he asked.
glancing over at usagi, you can see the hint of concern on her face aswell.

"it's so hard to get sleep here.." you yawned.
"i get it. but you still need to get it.." usagi worried. you didn't know usagi at all, but you knew you could place your trust in her.
