- Da-Ge!!!
Wei Wuxian rushed into the room, actually ignoring the interior, worried only about one of his favorite people. But he could not help but gape now.
Just like before, a couple of weeks ago, when Lan Xichen had come to Wangji's place to bring them the Jenny Yao paperwork, (and destroy all their potato-based meals), the young lawyer was now sitting in an arm-chair that was bigger and more luxurious than the one at Lan Zhan's place, but he was – inevitably – sitting like, and looking like a King in it again.
Wei Ying gaped.
The tall man was wearing just ordinary, uninteresting clothes, but his face looked peaceful; slow, gentle curls were framing it, and he looked like a noble prince from the fairy-tales once more, without putting any effort into it. His big hands were placed on the arm-rests of the arm-chair, and Wei Ying thought that he had never seen anyone who looked so much like he owned the place completely.
And he did. This, all this, was his. And this – all this - was rich, and elegant, fine and beautiful.
He approached the center of the room, mildly mesmerized, and just instinctively fell to his knees in front of him, as one would do in front of a beloved sovereign, and just placed his head in Lan Huan's lap, making him smile, and not comment, just move his right hand over the long, dark locks, caressing slowly. The vibe of a father-figure that was coming off Lan Xichen was so strong, so overwhelming, that, watching them now, Lan Wangji could only bite his lips and frown.
This here was too much, but he understood. He understood that urge in Wei Wuxian too well.
- Ge?
Wei Ying looked up, enchanted. True, they hadn't gotten married today, but he felt this almost complete stranger so close! He looked so much like Wangji that the physical attraction was happening on some invisible cellular level.
Lan Xichen understood too. His hands was stroking over the boy's soft curls, and he murmured:
- You call for me, you call me your "Ge", but am I? Am I, officially? Do I have the right to call you my "Di"? A-Xian?
- Ge... - he mumbled now, ashamed, hiding his face in the tall man's lap.
- I failed to bring you your rings. I failed you today, my Di...
The heavy hand stopped its stroking, and froze on top of Wei Wuxian's head, but he dared not move away. He needed more petting, and Wangji had been so on edge for hours now. He pouted a little and snuggled a little more, kneeling closer.
Brent was leaning against the doorway to the living-room, frowning a little. Today had been such a strange day! He could not understand most of it, and he disliked the feeling. But now, he almost jumped, startled, as the blond boy growled, all too suddenly, and all too aggressively:
- Enough of this! A-Huan! You should know better!!!
Laughing out loud, Lan Xichen now patted Wei Ying's shoulder gently, which was a signal for him to get up and go back to his lover.
- Ahhh... I see the brat is grumpy today again. – he said, almost merrily.
Pouting still, Wei Ying got up indeed, and sat on the sofa, pulling his tongue at Lan Zhan, but still mumbling:
- Come sit next to me, Grumpy!
Lan Wangji was squinting his eyes, trying to decipher the situation. But... it was his Ge's house. Weird stuff was happening here all the time, and this was why he hated coming here! Now Wei Ying was acting like a fool too!
