It was a blissful Saturday.

Neither remembered just when Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian had left last night  –  they had been far too busy with each other to care. 

They arrived at Lan Xichen's house in the white, frosty morning, and the air was fresh and cutting clear pathways through their lungs.

Sleepy no more, they got into the bath-tub immediately, leaving Brent to take care of the additional CCTV around the house. The man moved in mysterious ways;  they totally forgot about him at one point, and he demanded neither food, nor drink, and it was good that Lan Huan remembered to give him something of a weekly allowance  –  some couple of hundreds to take care of the immediate expenses, like gas, well  –  and coffee and newspapers.

They were relaxing in the bath for hours, so it was actually two baths, one after the other, washing their precious, mixed blood away, murmuring soft words to each other, hugging all the time, touching, checking each other's bruises, not  talking about it.

Actually, talking about anything else.

- That fool, A-Ning, looks really jumpy lately. He's developed the habit of looking over his shoulder when he arrives for work. I think it's healthy too, huh.

- Yeaaa... Mikey has this effect on people...

- Do you really think he is dangerous, Huan? So dangerous?

- I wouldn't have taken up new staff if he wasn't, honey.

- Mmmm. I need to check on A-Li. I wanna be there if she decides to... you know... get rid of the baby... I dunno where my fucking phone is!!! Dammit!

- Do you really think she's gonna kill her baby, love? She kinda didn't look like that kind of person to me!

- Ha! What kind of person do you think she is?! I've seen her cut a man's throat in cold blood! True, he had called her a bitch before that... So it was totally his fault.

- And you, darling?

- What me? Why are you staring at me like that?!?!

- Would you kill a man if you have to? Would you kill a man because of me?

- Do you doubt it now?!  FUUUUCK!!! You don't seem to doubt fucking Brent out there!!!
