Lan Xichen spent almost half an hour, saying good-bye to Jiang Wanyin, and they made Bobby almost tear up, when they kept promising each other that they would be meeting again in just a couple of hours. Letting go of Lan Huan was especially hard for Jiang Cheng, as he knew that he was going away from him just to meet with this idiot Wei Wuxian... It sucked.
Later, on their way to Wangji's flat, Lan Huan briefly mumbled the story of his future brother-in-law's worries, and how his own Di was a little... weird sometimes.
Initially, Katherine Yang had thought it all a whim; it wouldn't be the first one either. But lately Lan Xichen had been changing, and it often frustrated her severely that she seemed to no longer really know the man sitting opposite her. He surprised her constantly. Now, despite his light-hearted voice on the phone half an hour ago, the story he was telling her was one of anxiety and doubts, and all that - before a fucking wedding no less.
It was serious.
- Let's fix this, Boss. - she mumbled now, a little thrilled to actually see how Lan Xichen was going to handle that, not really commenting on the fact that it wasn't really just any client, but rather a case of blatant nepotism.

When Wei Wuxian got out of the building, his eyes immediately scouted the area for the unmistakable purple Porsche, but it was nowhere to be found. Instead, a massive silvery matt Mercedes, parked right in front of the entrance, blared a couple of times, startling him, and a young, very attractive woman lowered the front door glass and grinned:
- Hop in, honey!
He hesitated for a moment, but the rear door opened sharply, and it was Lan Xichen's long fingers that beckoned him inside.

- Sorry, darling! – Lan Huan mumbled apologetically. – I kinda left the car at A-Cheng's. Last night we kinda got... kinda drunk. – he grinned, lying without even batting an eye.
Wei Ying gaped.
It was a super luxurious car, even more so than Lan Zhan's Audi. He looked down at his own sporty, casual clothes and blushed.
- Soooo! This is what millionaires look like nowadays! – Kath mocked, not looking away from the road. – Where to, Boss?
Lan Huan laughed out loud, too amused, giving her an address that meant nothing to Wei Ying.
