You wandered around Adventure Bay, trying to find Jake. He said he'd wait for you by the car but Everest had been there the whole time and she hasn't seen him either. „Strange. Did he say anything to you Everest?" „No. He said he has to something to do but  he said that he'll be back in about ten minutes." It has been two hours since you came back from the grocery store. „Let's just wait in the parking lot." you suggested. Everest nodded and about five minutes later Jake came back. „Where have you been Jake?" „That is none of your business Everest. But it took longer than I thought." „Next time take your phone with you honey." you said, glad that he was okay.

Once you arrived back at the little mountain hut you put away the groceries. „Y/n, is it okay if I am not here tomorrow?" „That's fine. Me and Everest wanted to visit Ryder anyway." „So it is okay if I stay away overnight?" you turned to face Jake. A soft smile on your lips gave him the okay. „Of course it is honey. But take your phone with you." Jake nodded but nothing could prepare you for the next day. Jake left early, so you had to make breakfast for yourself and Everest. „Where do you think he is spending today?" „I don't know Everest. Probably one of his homies." Everest nodded.

After breakfast you and her had a little time for yourselves before you drove to Ryder. He said he had a surprise for you. Basically an excuse that he couldn't come to your birthday party wich was a few weeks ago. At the lookout Everest parked her vehicle and then jumped out to greet Marshall. „Hello N/n." „Hi Ryder. You said you had a surprise for me?" „I do. Follow me." you did and Ryder showed you a motorcycle. It was f/c and it looked expensive. „That's..." „The bike you wanted do badly, remember?" You nodded and asked if you could take a ride Ryder laughed and asked what you thought of getting ice-cream. You cheered and so you two went to get ice-cream. „Again, I am sorry that I couldn't come to the party." „it's fine." You had a big smile on your face when Ryder sudden asked „Where did you say Jake wanted to stay?" „With a friend. Why?" „So you are still a couple?" „Yes." „Well..." Ryder pointed behind you. You turned around to see Jake kiss another girl.

He didn't have siblings abs his mother looked way different so that must mean.... He is cheating on me. You lost your balance. All you heard was Ryder calling your name. He sounded worried but you couldn't hear it clearly. Jake was cheating on me. This thought circled your mind and your vision went black. You woke up on a couch. Ryder must have taken you back to the lookout. „N/n? Thank god you woke up." „R-Ryder? What happened?" „You saw Jake kissing that girl and you passed out." „For how long?" „One or two hours?" you let your head fall back on the pillow. „You won't like this but... Jake send you a message." Ryder handed you your phone.

Hey Y/n.
I am sorry to tell you this but we have to break up. Please take your stuff and move out. I am really sorry. -Jake.

For a few moments you just stared at the message, hoping that he would send another one saying sike but there was no other message. Tears formed in your eyes and you started to cry. Ryder put his hand on your shoulder, trying to comfort you. You hugged him and your tears stained his vest. He hugged you back and tried to calm you down. „Shhh.... I am here N/n." Ryder started to pat your back. „What happened Y/n?!" Everest stood in the doorway and Ryder answered for you. „Jake just broke up with her through text." Everest jumped up on the couch and snuggled close to you too. She couldn't believe Jake did this. Ending your relationship like this.

Ryder told her what happened in the city, while you cried your heart out. While Everest still tried to digest the new information, Ryder tried his best to calm you. „It's okay N/n. Let it all out. Shhh... I am here for you. You didn't deserve it..." Ryders voice silenced the pain a little. He was right. You didn't deserve this break up.
