After having been found in a barn, and headed back into town to figure out the next step, (F/N), Issei, and Asia all headed out towards the nearest restaurant they could find. They sat, taking in the grub that Issei happily paid for. They placed their order and were waiting for their drinks to be given to them.

"So, I have to ask," Issei began, looking at (F/N) curiously. A question he was ready to ask, that appeared in his mind as they were heading back into town. "You and Asia both came from Europe, right?" He asked. (F/N) nodded his head in response.

"Yeah, that's right," (F/N) answered, licking his lips. He cleared his throat and looked around at the other people in the restaurant, seeing each of them drinking their drinks.

"Did you, at some point, meet a girl named..." Issei paused for a moment, as if choosing between a couple of names until one name he decided made more sense. "Raynare?" Asia looked at him, getting a sense for the question he was going to ask him.

"Yeah," (F/N) answered, "long, black hair. What about her?"

"N-Nothing, just...curious," Issei replied. It felt like there was more going on in Issei's mind with that one question, but he held onto it for later.

"Did something happen?" (F/N) asked, tilting his head.

"(F/N)," Asia began, "she...she was actually a bad person. A lot of things that she promised us, was actually a way to get my special ability." (F/N)'s eyes widened as he heard her.

"What?" He asked in disbelief. "I-I thought that wasn't possible."

"Well, she found a way," Asia continued, "but Issei and his friends came and saved me."

"That's true," Issei confirmed, "we got all but one of them."

"Who?" (F/N) asked, leaning forward. His voice went a bit deeper, and a small growl in his voice. He was getting frustrated.

"This psycho named Freed," Issei answers. "He ran off like a coward."

"B-But we don't have to worry about him anymore!" Asia said, holding her hands up to clam (F/N) down. "Because if he does, he won't be able to stand up to Issei and the others."

"That's no comfort, now is it?" A voice, only (F/N) could hear, asked. It was deep, a bit raspy but spoke in a whisper. (F/N) quickly looked around him. He looked outside the window, in the booth behind him, and everywhere else in the restaurant from his seat.

"Who said that?" He asked aloud.

"Who said what?" Issei asked. (F/N) looked back at the two across from him, seeing their puzzled and confused looks. (F/N) motioned behind him.

"You didn't hear the..." He slowly began, looking between him and Asia, before shaking his head. "I must be hearing things then," he mused. "But, him and Raynare were working together to do this and he got away?"

"(F/N), don't worry," Asia said as she quickly walked around to his side and sat next to him, grabbing his hand and looking up at him. "We'll be okay. Trust me when I say that if he does come back-"

"Me and the others will be there to kick his ass!" Issei chimed in, flexing his muscles and pumping his fist. (F/N) looked between the two of them again, seeing their confident expressions. But it was little assurance to him.

"Right..." (F/N) muttered to himself, before he spoke up a bit louder for the next part, "so did you find somewhere to sleep?" Asia released (F/N)'s hand and nodded her head.

"Yeah! I'm currently living at Issei's house right now!" When Asia answered that, (F/N) quickly turned his head to Issei, and just stared. Similarly to how a dad would stare at her daughter's boyfriend, (F/N) examined Issei from head to toe, as if ascertaining whether or not Issei's a trustworthy person. Issei felt (F/N)'s stern gaze, and shuddered at what it was the boy was thinking about, which led to him looking away nervously. "Oh!" Asia exclaimed, "you need a place to stay as well! Issei, do you think you could convince your parents to let (F/N) live with us as well?"
