The next day, after the incident in the alleyway, (F/N) woke up from his sleep-filled state. There was one thing different about his usual morning than before. Instead of sleeping in the same room as Issei, he was instead forced to sleep in the same room as Asia was. He tried to sit up, only to feel resistance in the form of a pair of arms wrapped around him. He peeled the blanket back, revealing Asia to be asleep next to him, nuzzled up against his body with her eyes against his chest. Tear stains were dried against his bare body. He stared down at her for a bit longer, his thoughts going to the secret she's keeping from him, but was quickly reminded of the few minutes after Akeno left.
When (F/N) was patched up, all his bones snapping back into place and his head no longer aching from pain, he stood up to get another pair of clothes to wear. But Asia didn't let him leave, she just wrapped her arms around him and held him close. She spouted questions after questions, asking where he was, what he was doing, and what it had to do with the police. (F/N) made an attempt to assure her, but she wasn't having it. He could feel her tears rub against him, and hear her sad sniffles drown out her sobbing. Reluctant to hear an answer, Asia eventually just dragged him to her room, where she could hold onto him and make sure he didn't leave. Issei didn't really stand in the way, he just gave (F/N) some advice to waking up next to a girl, even adding if they're naked.
There was a moment of confusion that wracked (F/N)'s brain when he heard that, even more confused that he gave him that advice, even when Asia is his sister!
(F/N) continued to look down at her, before he reached up and rubbed the top of her head. She softly groaned, holding tightly onto him.
"Asia," (F/N) softly said, "wake up." She turned her head away from him, hoping that by covering one of her ears she wouldn't hear him again. "Asia." Still no response from her. (F/N) sat and pondered for a second, thinking of a way to calmly wake her up. He then figured out a way he could wake her up. With one hand, he reached down and pinched her cheek, shaking it a few times and then stretching it out and letting it go. This seemed to do the trick. Another groan came from Asia, but this time she woke up. Slowly, Asia opened her eyes up and looked around. She then realized that she was holding onto (F/N). Even when she did, she didn't let go.
"You're still here," she muttered to herself.
"Can't really leave when you're still holding onto me," (F/N) replied. "Come on, we need to get up and go." Asia glanced away, keeping her grip on him for a moment longer.
"C-Can we just stay in?" She shyly asked. "I don't want you going back to that town again. What if you get attacked? What if there's no one else there to help you? What if..." as she was asking more questions akin to his well-being, she started to tear up, burying her face in his body. (F/N) reached up and patted her head again, rubbing her head softly.
"I'm gonna be okay," (F/N) replied.
"You say that," Asia began, "but everytime we leave, everytime you're not with me, I get worried that you're not going to be around anymore. I'm scared that you'll be dead." (F/N) smiled as he heard what she said, feeling within his heart her sincerity and her concern for him.
"Trust me, Asia, I'll be okay," (F/N) replied. She backed away from him and rubbed the tears from her eyes, slowly looking up at him and into his eyes. She stared, as if checking to see if he was telling the truth with his eyes.
"Are you sure?" She asked him, wanting confirmation from him.
"Yeah, I'm sure," he replied. "Now come on, you don't want to be late for school." Asia reluctantly nodded her head and released him from her grasp.
"Okay," she softly said. "I'm going to get my shower. You'll still be here to walk with us, right?" She asked. (F/N) chuckled again and stood up, rubbing the top of her head, like it was a way to soothe her.
