The garage at night had sounds of celebration, the sounds of beer bottles clinking together, and the obnoxious sounds of eating heard, likely from outside. The three men that went in and claimed the life of innocent people were enjoying a round of beers and eating the food that was sitting on (F/N)'s bike, before they left. The fourth guy, on the other hand, was slowly, and reluctantly, doing work. He reached up, grabbed a spool of chains, and walked back over to the van to strap down (F/N)'s bike, which they promptly stole after the shooting. That event, where the girl, and the deaths of those innocent shoppers, replayed in his mind as well. He, too, could have done something to stop them, but he didn't. He had the ability to, but he chose not to. The fourth guy also remembered looking down at (F/N), doing his best to show that he wouldn't hurt him, unlike his "partners".
However, that didn't seem to do any good right now. It's only brought him more pain, and more trauma to see innocent people killed. The first three guys offered some beers and such to the fourth one, but he refused, opting to do some kind of manual labor in the hopes that it would help calm him down.
"How much did we make?" The first guy asked, before chugging down half the bottle.
"Not much, I'll tell you that," the third guy answered. "That chick at the register didn't have a lot in there at the time."
"You see, I told you we should've grabbed the coins as well!" The second one said,
"But we did get a lot from the wallets," the third one said, pulling up the bag of wallets that they nabbed. "We're talking tens of thousands of yen!"
"Hell yeah!"
"And then there's also the parts we nabbed. We sell it online, at just the right price, we could effectively be set for life!" The fourth guy wanted to voice his displeasure with the group, but given how the first guy acted with the register girl, he decided to simply keep quiet, and figure out a way out of this. And if prison is where he must go in order for them to face retribution, then so be it, but he just needed the chance to actually get out and run.
But they would face retribution, just not at his hands.
As the fourth one hooked the bike down to the floor of the van, the bike suddenly started up. Everyone turned and looked at the bike, staring curiously as to how a kick-start bike could just start up. The fourth guy just looked it over, before reaching up and turning it off.
"At least the bike still works," the third one said, before they all turned back to their celebratory drinking. The fourth one continued working, ensuring the bike wouldn't tumble over while they were driving. As he did, he thought for a moment about a way to escape he could do; while they were driving, he could quickly unhook the bike, start it up, and drive off out the back of the van, running to the nearest police station to confess to the crime.
But as he was pondering his plan a bit further, the bike started up again, even going so far as for the engine to rev. Everyone looked at the bike again.
"Hey, rookie, don't waste the damn gas!" The first one shouted. The fourth one shuddered, his thoughts going back to the girl's death, before he tried to shut it off. However, it wouldn't shut off. He kept trying, really putting pressure on a shut-off switch, but to no avail.
"You gonna turn it off, rookie?"
"I'm trying, but the switch is jammed, or something," the rookie replied.
"Then get it unjammed!" The rookie grunted as he pressed his thumb hard against the switch, but with no luck. The first one just let out a groan and stood up, grabbing a nearby crowbar and heading to the van. He yanked the fourth guy out and stood next to the bike, looking towards the switch to shut it off. He then proceeded to swing the crow bar down on it, hitting the bike with force, as if abusing it would eventually stop it.
