Quick to action, (F/N) hurried out of the hospital and hopped on his bike once again. He left the explanation to Asia. He didn't want to waste time explaining to Rias and the others, not while Akeno was in trouble.
Much like his situation with Asia, (F/N) felt that he had left Akeno in a bad mood. He was disgusted with her and the others, and he left with no explanation. Doing his best to try and put himself in her shoes, he knew she was most likely hurt, but he doesn't know exactly how hurt she was. Either way, he understood that he might've hurt her with his leaving and to leave it all on bad terms was not going to happen now.
He eventually made his way over towards an old shrine house, as the night was coming to an end and the sun was starting to rise over the mountains. A place abandoned to time, with no visitors to come give their blessings to the gods. Koneko had told him that she went to this abandoned shrine, believing it was a place for her to gather her thoughts.
(F/N) made it past the shrine gate, shutting off his bike, hopping off and running inside quickly, not even bothering to kick out the kickstand. He burst through the doors, running on the hardwood floor and checking each room. He checked for her body, and when he did find her, out in the garden where a fountain resided and cherry blossom trees were growing, (F/N) found her body lying on the ground, next to said fountain.
"Akeno!" (F/N) called out, jumping down from the raised, wooden floor. He got to her side and pulled her up. Not a single sign of a bruise or cut, only her soft breathing; she was unconscious. But it wasn't until he picked her up that Akeno started to wake up. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and her lavender eyes landed on his face. The first thing that came to mind was his cold words to her, but she didn't want to do the same to him. However, her eyes widened a bit as she realized one problem that he didn't know about. She slowly reached up, grabbed the nearest piece of fabric on his person and tugged.
"B-Be careful!" She said, only to confuse (F/N). He didn't know what it was he needed to be careful about, until he was suddenly ripped away from Akeno and thrown across the garden. His body knocked off chunks of the fountain, and then his back hit the trunk of the cherry tree. He let out a shout of pain, and grunted as he hit the ground, feeling the pain sear through his body. Pushing himself up he looked at the perpetrator, and his eyes finally got a chance to look upon Samael, the Fallen Angel Mephisto warned him about. He approached (F/N) with a smug grin on his face.
"Looking for someone?" He said, putting one foot on the fountain's edge and motioning to himself. Swiftly, the Rider took control of (F/N) as soon as he saw Samael.
"You," he said standing up, marching over towards the Fallen Angel. The Rider reached over to grab his collar, only for Samael to grab his wrist and spin him around, hitting the Rider's body against what's left of the fountain and letting him fall into the water. And while the logic of the universe is that water would put out fire, the Rider's skull was still ablaze, which didn't surprise the man.
"I always wanted to try that with you," Samael said, before picking up the back of the Rider's jacket and picking him up out of the water. "How easily you were able to kill my men, where's that luck now?" He stood the Rider up on his feet, before he lifted his own foot up and kicked the Rider across the garden. More of the dirt was kicked up and the beautifully crafted garden was now being destroyed as the small battle continued.
The Rider quickly picked himself up and stood to face the Angel. He held his hand up and formed a fireball, then hucking it over towards Samael. However, Samael formed a light spear, and knocked each ball he threw away, and then swung the spear in a way that made it turn around and hit the Rider back in his face. The Rider stumbled back, for only a moment, before he turned his steely glare at the "blind god".
