The road (F/N) took was one that felt familiar to him, even though he doesn't exactly recall having gone down his way before. The scenery flashed through his mind as he continued along, and a feeling of nostalgia washed over him as he continued. He couldn't remember it exactly, but he followed his gut feeling. He then came across a turn, which made him stop for a moment and look ahead. He could see a fence separate him and the animals that roamed the fields. But the fence he was looking at had a different color tone than the rest. The longer he stared at it, the more it flashed in his mind that he had crashed through this one. He blinked his eyes, feeling the sense of familiarity, and then he looked up and over towards the other side of the entire ranch.

Far off in the distance, (F/N) could barely see the ranch owner, Carter, standing in front of his barn and looking out back at (F/N). The two locked eyes from great distance, until (F/N) revved his engine and continued down the road. Carter chuckled to himself, and a grin grew on his face, before he walked over towards the entrance to his ranch and pushed a button, opening the gate to let (F/N) through.

As the young biker approached, Carter leaned on one of the fence posts and watched (F/N) approach him.

"I appreciate you coming in through the gate," he said, "I ran out of lumber fixing the one you broke earlier." (F/N) pulled his bike up in front of Carter, stopping the engine and kicking out the kickstand. "So, what brings you to my lovely abode?" (F/N) wasn't sure how to ask Carter this question, he appeared human and was just a simple ranch owner, but (F/N) knew better. There was some kind of feeling he got that told him to come here, not to mention Satana's little note that emphasized the 'everyone'. Carter tilted his head to the side and looked him over, noticing (F/N)'s distant stare. "You looking for something?" He asked, which made (F/N) spring to action in what he was trying to achieve. He leaned his head up and looked into Carter's eyes, and it was there that he noticed something. Something odd: Carter had mismatched eyes, it felt like two people were looking at (F/N). He got off of his bike and approached, getting closer to the ranch owner. With a deep breath, he prepared himself.

"I'm looking for the Black Bible," (F/N) answered. Carter tensed up when he heard the question, he knew something. (F/N) could see it, and the Rider was telling him important things like Carter's stance and the way he shifted about.

"The Black Bible?" Carter asked. "Why in God's name would you want something like that?" It appeared that Carter knew about the book, which got (F/N) invested. He knew something. (F/N) looked away from the owner, looking out at the animals that roamed the fields. He spotted another odd thing; a herd of red-eyed cows. He could barely make out the brand's flame, and the horns on them were black, and shiny. There was more than just a simple ranch owner. He looked back at Carter, and weighed his options; should he tell him the truth, or come up with some kind of excuse to appear noble. But with how old Carter looked, and the apparent knowledge he knows more than (F/N), he found it better to simply go with the former.

"A friend of mine was kidnapped earlier," (F/N) answered. "She was taken by Samael, and in return for sparing her, he wants the Black Bible." Carter paused to process the information given to him, as well as picking his words carefully. He tapped his fingers against the fencepost he leaned on, and then paused for a bit longer. It was the same kind of look that (F/N) would give while he was talking to the Rider; he looked like he was talking to someone in his head.

"He asked the Rider to get it for him, because he doesn't have some of his goons?" Carter asked. (F/N)'s eyes widened as he heard Carter, surprised about him knowing about the Rider and what he's done. "I may not have T.V. here on the ranch, but I do have access to newspapers, kid," Carter said. "And what makes you think that I have the book?"

"I didn't say you have the book," (F/N) pointed out. "You just asked if I needed something." Carter stood there for a bit longer, and then he chuckled.
